When you sign onto a film, you have an idea about how the working hours are going to be like based on the budget and contracts. Why did she sign on if she wasn't okay with the working hours? As someone who works in Healthcare, we work 14-16 hour shifts, rotating from days and nights. It sucks but that is the nature of our job. And we don't get paid nearly as much as actors do. If Deepika has a problem with committing to work hours, she should mention that before coming on board. Anyways, she has been doing mostly cameo roles in recent years. Nothing noteworthy since Padmavaat (questionable performance imo)

This. He is pissed not because of her working hours demands, acc to him , she leaked the script in public after rejecting his film offer. Isn't that his tweet?

So why is Mohit taking a dig? Did DP reject him sometime? Afaik she never shit talked any filmmaker.

Is he afraid that now actresses are changing the status quo and can make such suggestions in film shoot timings?

Correct. Suri didn't call her a dictator. He labelled this behaviour as dictatorship. Again, sounds like a case of sour grapes. He is a hero's director anyway.

Also, I don't know if dp signed the film. Afaik, she just read the film script. So she didn't walk out after signing anything. She walked out after her both her and vanga didn't agree about her working hours and money matters.

Well even in her upcoming films(King and the upcoming Atlee film), she is playing side roles again.

Guess her days as a leading lady are truly over
