Lovely updates Moor, Resham, Scar, Taiyo and Purplegirl, thank you for tagging.

Have to agree PH goal is to keep trps up and sustain the show…. their strategy has worked so far given last weeks ratings. And I take Mukta’s caption of restart meaning just that, restarting at the new time slot so having to focus on capturing new audience to replace old slot viewers.

So I watched the new Manpasand ki shaadi show which took the old 10.30 slot……its opening epi had absolutely stunning outdoor rural scenery and very colourful villiage backdrop….setting up the storyline for (imho) mediocre fl and ml.
Reminded me of the dramatic opening shoots of #mhkpk but for the ‘restart’ the budget won’t stretch too far so PH are offering festival celebrations in decorated SM and cast all dressed up…… followed by 2nd festival with dance routine stretching to outdoor shoot as the wow factor.
And Scar & Moor are right we are back to the beginning, with the arch-nemesis getting the upper hand again…..and to maintain this, Mannat has to be dumbed down for a while (but we know, just like Vik, Mannat will come to her senses eventually). And the rest of the tracks dragging out as an ‘introduction’ to the storyline for new viewers. Old viewers get the dangling of carrots of ManVik confessions/commitment making and teasers via Mukta’s bts. She knows releasing just one nugget will set the online fandom into delirium like yesterday….and get us through the rough patch……much like the damage control after the ONS/jootha shaadi bombshell.

So going back to PH’s goal….to keep the show running and we are at their mercy.
And to be fair, after the shaadi track everyone was up in arms about potential EMA, but the writers and our fantastic ml has avoided that….. and due to that plot we were gifted Adnan’s confrontations.

Our choice is to continue watching and supporting the show or stop watching and risk it shutting down. For me personally I want to keep having Adnan and Ayesha on screen delivering outstanding enjoyment and dare I say it, am even willing to put up with Malla’s chindi plans knowing they will backfire ☺️
