Beautiful and really emotional written piece. It shows how sensitive you are when it comes to such scenes. There is no question, their inner turmoil was the driving force for such reaction but the surrounding elements were also fueling the situation. The family on either side was not giving them or sparing them any moment to breath or heal from this wound. Then this outcome was inevitable from a spouse to spouse. This is the place when things go over the board. Maybe, because spouses feel to have this right to rant whatever to each other but they can't to others.
There is no such thing as a perfect marriage because it is made of imperfect people. Being married means giving it your all to your spouse daily. Even when you don't feel it and even when it hurts. It means looking beyond yourself, and giving to them because they are a part of you.
A marriage without an emotional connection is a lonely journey. But I must feel here that Arnav could take some stand for her to make sure no one could disrespect her in his own home.I know things will change on Holi but not because of him, it was Khushi's personal efforts and Anjali's as well. That point I didn't like at all.
Thank you for the beautiful ride for this journey again.
