I’m posting this after coming across a Reddit thread about RoPu’s latest Instagram post. I watched the interview where Rahul called Armaan a red flag and Anshuman a green flag. Naturally, after Armaan/Abhimaan fans started their uproar, RoPu snidely replied that he’s a “pink flag,” and Sam chimed in saying she likes pink on him.

Now, on its own, this could have been a completely harmless post and comment—if I hadn’t seen them repeatedly calling out or subtly mocking people for simply calling a spade a spade when it comes to their characters on the show.

Honestly, these two are becoming quite embarrassing. RoPu, along with the character he plays on-screen (Armaan), has really faced a downfall lately. I’m an antisocial introvert, so I initially thought I could relate to Sam. But watching her constantly defend RoPu, feeding into that narcissism, and trying to package it as “classy” only makes her come across as snobbish and a bit unkind.

In one of her interviews—right after receiving the ITA award—when the reporter asked what award she had won, she pulled a meh face and said it was “just” a Promising Actor award. According to her, she should have received the Best Actress. Kyun, bhai? There are so many far more talented actors in Indian television who have worked with stronger plots, tighter screenplays, and better-crafted roles.

Now, I’m not saying she’s a bad actor—she is promising, especially in this new generation of painfully low-effort performances—but she’s not the best, no matter what she thinks. I don’t like Rupali, I don’t follow Upma, but I can acknowledge that Rupali was phenomenal as Monisha and in other roles over the years that went unrecognized. She’s finally getting her moment now—let her have that limelight.

Sam’s attitude, however, is disappointing. She can’t compare herself to a veteran like Rupali—come on. I’m not commenting on Rupali’s personal life or her alleged behaviour on set; I’ve heard things, but that’s separate from her craft. Those are two entirely different discussions, in my opinion.

Anyway—drop your thoughts below. I’m curious to know what you think. No slandering anybody pls, only sensible comments.

i will give benefit of doubt in this issue .. maybe makers told these 2 to give drama. maybe rahul (anshuman) knew

but previous drama with garvita, repeatedly taunting her that ruhi humare beech agyi is very high school bully clique. 4 din ki chandni usme itna itrao mat. especially ropu coming across as bully, the writer calling the show the rohit purohit show dont help

Samriddi never got into other drama especially when shehzada pratiksha left so i thought shes one of those professional people who stay in their lane. apparently not.... well karma works in mysterious ways. someday this behavior will come back, especially with her allegedly cheating with a committed man. not wishing bad, just saying shit like this happens.

Actually, I gave them the benefit of doubt during the Garvita period—when they were slandering the character she was playing. Going to award shows and publicly saying she’s “coming in between”? RoPu and Sam aren’t even married in real life, so… I mean, why did they have to say that? I didn't take those jibes seriously back then.

I let that slide. Now, however, they’re simply acting bitchy—RoPu like a queen bee and Sam like the queen bee’s boyfriend, who’ll support her in anything because she likes him and wants to be in his good graces. This is so stupid! I never knew social media could ruin your perception of a person this badly. Before social media, I was quite happy not knowing some actors personally—on-screen they played their part, made me happy, and that was that. Now? Not so much.

As for Samriddhi, I used to think she was the “stay-in-your-lane, keep-it-professional” type—especially when she didn’t touch the Shehzada-Pratiksha exit drama. But this proves she’s not above joining the snide club when it’s convenient. And that’s where the disappointment hits—not because she’s “evil,” but because it’s such an unnecessary way to chip away at your own reputation.

Whether people like it or not, public perception sticks. One “scripted” dig might pass, but repeated digs build a persona. Sam likes to present herself as polite, well-read, and somehow “better” than everyone else—but these repeated digs and her habit of supporting people who are clearly putting others down shows who you really are at your core.

And some people really do not deserve mass popularity. RoPu didn’t have that until YRKKH, and back then he seemed fine. But now? It’s gone to his head. You can see it in the way he talks, the way he acts, and the way he interacts on social media—there’s this subtle but constant undertone of arrogance, like he thinks he’s untouchable. And that’s the dangerous part—once you start believing your own hype, you stop seeing when you’re crossing the line. ALSO, can I please mention his stupid a*s fan-made stories on Instagram every few minutes on him and AbhiMaan? Sam has started doing that too, although the quantity is quite minimum.

rahul is giving interviews as told by ph not on his own or personal stuff. When he tells about the difference in ar and anshuman it's known to all. None is closing eyes and watching show blindly. Why immediately promote a pink flag shows their behavior either jovial or arrogant or attitude issues. Rahul promotes ropu as mera rajasthani and good bond between them. Sam is introvert as told by everyone she talks when needed it seems. It's her personal issue she wants to be that only not to hooked by media all time. Remember ropu sam both mocked garvita anywhere when came in front of camera for shows. This is not a good behavior at all. They should learn that professional style of dealing things instead of going in sky for a show which came now and after their characters are done they are dropped down. Did hc ever insult any character in interviews being a senior artist ruling the fans. Did any senior artist did same way? I haven't seen anyone till now doing this way taking reel as real. They are in maya illusionary world I feel. Geetanjali artist might be new gives interviews praising everyone.

Pankhuri was personally bashed as she came as vedika in between kaira which is absolutely wrong. The supporting cast helped her in that and they were bashed badly . Next came vruschika as psycho doctor. Rs made sure that every day shivi gave offscreen friendly pics so that vruschi personally not mocked only character. Respect the characters first in show and artists playing it. If they do it why will online people mock others. Ex. Romit was asked why ruhi is this that. He used to say his version ruhi bahut achi hi, ruhi se rohit pyar karta hi.garvita is fabulous actress. Etc .this is what the respect is. Today they might have limelight but tomorrow they are with.... So keeping head properly on shoulders always saves life which is longgg run not like a short show.

Not to forget.. Sam ka words kuch toh hua hoga in last ITA awards when pranali won best actress. Pranali was fabulous artist she portrayed as softer ak and revengeful acharaaa both. Why not she deserves for what she struggled for 2 yrs taking absolute negativity from day1. Respect the artist working for any character that explains everything.

Rahul never actually talked shit about any of the actors

But these "fans" clearly used his words against him

He called his character a green flag and called armaan a red flag while clearly saying that RoPu is not like armaan

I am sure RoPu didn't even bother to see the IV or even the clips

As soon as his fans started attacking Rahul he responded by supporting them

Plus his caption was clearly directed towards Rahul's post

That was his way of saying he is above all of this(which he clearly isn't or else he won't even bother)

when fans trend Or vote for them in getting awards they can thank fans. But pacifying fans daily by bashing other character is not their job. They came to work for a show and their role is till there on sets in shoot. Mean mentality and cheap behavior never works. Dkp crew are all useless people we had lot of stories circulated in s2 s3 time regarding the set behavior on artists. Sam jeot uppp in shehzada prats issue as she is told to do so by dkp. These people waited for a good role and stability till their 29 and 37 so eyes above head only. Both feel they are supporting the kappal In show but in reality it's nothing zero for us.

This is what even I wanted to say ..that side comments on ru seemed unprofessional..i like Garv she is decent enf to stay in her lane

Sam also comes across as pretentious coz all that comment was not needed and she needs not have supported ropu

Ropu comes across childish with snide comments ..i mean rah commented on charcter in serial not on ropu

Wait, Samridhi won award based on this show??🤑🤑🤑

For me promising actor would have been Shivangi in her initial portrayal of Naira. She wasn’t great in Naira role initially but later, she evolved & became phenomenal in the role.

Sam has some worst kind of portrayal of a worst character Abhira & about offscreen I have no idea. But she never came across as 'less-bitchy & Only professional ' for me

I Don't wish her bad but it doesn’t seem like she will shine outside rishta after it ends(although future is unpredictable, but she hasn’t improved a bit since forever.)

There r some cons of doing a legacy show Which is also longest running show of itv.

Even hina khan is still known as Akshara, even shivangi joshi.Atleast their character had some worth.Alas, sam's character doesn’t even have that

His wife comes across MORE arrogant.

I have seen her and RoPu' interview at some birthday bash when they first revealed about her pregnancy.Something was off About her.Could be blamed on pregnancy hormones.Still answers were very off puting & kind of disinterested.

No one is actually interested in her pregnancy
