Sona would’ve helped Shiv take the revenge never understanding that he’d be all the more broken after destroying his mother, but Prarthana understood that and tried to stop him from doing so and asked him to talk to his mother. Sonalika is materialistic while Prarthana is a realist, he himself said that he’s never seen somebody as pure a Prats. I believe this is the difference.

And love always needn’t be ‘first’ to have an impact. He might’ve been in relationships before/ loved someone else before but he’ll not be able to love anyone other than Prarthana now. I know I’m not making much sense but I hope you understand what I am trying to convey.

In my opinion they didn’t ruin Shivansh, rather they kept up with his character of a flawed anti hero. He’s no saint but after Prats he’s very much willing to become one.

@ red yes they kept anti-hero theme alive. He is flawed and we saw that when he made an impulsive decision to marry Prarthana. He did not think through anything. Consequences or impact at all. Now he cares for Prarthana but he did not in beginning. He did not once think he is ruining an innocent girls life. He wanted to show world he married a girl spend a night with here and let her go and just to hurt Ronak. So it will hurt his mom. he might have kicked Prarthana out if that food poisoning fiasco did not happen.

He is very flawed and he is anti hero. Yes I did not expect this but one thing I know is Shivansh does not seem to me like a guy who could be forced to marry a girl without his consent.

I understand your point. In the end it comes down to the pathetic timing of the scenes. They’ve got the order wrong and the writer toh is “MAHAAN”. Is he the one who wrote Abhigya’s story? My mum tells it was very well written. If so what the hell even happened to him!

So I’m gearing up for his confession scene. That is where I expect him to address all this drama and put an end to it. For obvious reasons Prats will reject and we’ll get to see him actually working hard for his love.

Yes this scene is misplaced and yes waiting for him to work for PraShiv relation.

And Shivansh? He’s no victim. Not of abandonment issues, not of trust issues, not of any fear… nothing. He’s the culprit. He saw his future with Sona, proposed to her and would have happily married her.. if he hadn’t met his mom..

This is one of the many reasons for my outburst today.. See Nagpal is nowhere near as “skilled” as he thinks he is. Who on earth asked him to suddenly give us Shiv's detailed history with Sona? Why hand so much relevance to her character and their so-called love story when the show is in its final stretch? Why ruin Shivansh, butcher him beyond repair, all in the name of “closure”?! Absolute nonsense!

Behen show is ending and they don’t know what to do now so they are throwing stuff like this. Even Namik will be disappointed with way his character is going. Poor guy

Tbh it was not needed at all. Things they should be given importance is not shown. But this crap is.

Let’s humor this for a second. Say he did propose. Then everything we've seen of him since—his inability to trust, to connect, to love Prarthana fully even when he’s breaking apart inside—is pure performative nonsense? Was his pain just… dramatic garnish?

His arc only made sense if he’d never risked his heart before. If he was untouched, unscarred by love—because love never happened for him until Prarthana. That’s what made their dynamic so achingly real.

Now what? They want us to believe that Prarthana isn't the storm that shook him, but merely the girl he happened to marry because Sonalika exited stage left?

No. Absolutely not.

"He meant it at that time"

This line should be banned from all emotionally driven stories. “I meant it at that time” is the laziest, most cowardly way to retain sympathy while invalidating everything the current story stands for.

If Shivansh meant it, then:

His coldness toward Prarthana wasn’t fear, it was just… indifference.

His eventual surrender to her wasn’t growth, it was settling.

And his breakdowns, his apologies, his vulnerability—they were all hollow.

What does that make Prarthana? A rebound with good timing?

Are we seriously expected to root for a love where one would have happily married someone else if his mother hadn’t re-entered his life? If Sonalika hadn’t been absent, Prarthana wouldn’t exist in his story? That’s not just narrative injustice—that’s emotional treachery.....

This is not my Shivansh....and I am refusing to accept it... Nagpal needs to retire asap.....

Now what everything he felt for Prarthana is a lie ? His care and concern.

I liked how they were shaping Shivansh but now he is twisted into something we don’t know.

It would have been better if they kicked her out on reception night. Then this sick joke. I tried to logically understand him in past few post I have commented but still .

Is that why Shivansh was not accepting he loves her? His car convo with Sonalika was between two friends not two people in love. And if they really loved each other then he would not have a tortured heart. Sonalika would have straight way asked how can you cheat on me after all the times we have spend together and was my love no enough and she would have helped him in. Destroying Zaveris.
