Obviously we can't judge choices or circumstances, but self-worth should be above anything, specifically when a person is educated, when she was a different person before falling in love. Inhumane treatment because of infertility, license cancellation, public humiliation, character assassination, motherhood certification and separation from child without any fault, gaslighting and guilt-tripping for seven years. It was all too much even for a fictional character, who never took her revenge or fought back the way she should.

Self worth should always come first even before your kids. Because if you don’t value yourself, you are teaching your children not to value themselves either. Ab struggles with that, and unfortunately Maira will learn the same pattern. And no creative liberty or the usual ITV excuse should never justify showing women as doormats.

Now if that person decide otherwise you have to respect their choice even if you disagree. I would've be fine Abhira left Ar after shraap, and he left her at that stupid a$$ door to chase VV, I would've been fine after she find out the truth about BSP and all the crap in between regarding Pookie before disappearing to Mount Abu. They're divorce now and I'll be fine too if she never get back with Armaan. When I state my pov doesn't mean I'm in for Abhimaan one way or the other, I've always call balls and strike when is needed, if Abhira is wrong I say it when Ar is wrong I say it. I just feel people make decision based on one incident instead of the totality of the character or overall. This is a show that still entertain me and many others that's why is stay in top 5.

Now when was Abhira physically abuse, cause that's a strong word to use, that domestic abuse word you're using
