I agree & that's why I wanted to especially check out the show for Sheen's portrayal esp from Piya albela days. Leads never had that spark tbh & I don't like the acting of the actress Rachi sharma as she has almost the expressions tbh.

I like both Sheen and Hitesh but Sheen absolutely stole the show with her micro expressions. She wasn't just a ghost who did rawwrrrr~~~ all the time. Loved how she gave attention to the micro expressions. One can see the glimpses of Madhu even when she's Daakini.

For me, Ayaan and Meera's lovestory is on an express mode. I have watched so many kdramas and cdramas but even they have better scenes which can justify the instant love trope. Idek when did they start falling in love. Too much skinship made them fall in love I guess. I have legit watched none of their scenes apart from the ones pushed on my TL. And Rachi is almost always crying with wide eyes in those

I agree with this. Keeping aside the acting prowess of the actors involved, I liked Meera's character individually but honestly, the makers have missed a lot of opportunities to build-up her and Ayaan's story.

I mean, I used to watch episodics of Shhhhh, Phir Koi Hain and there within 1 hour of episodes, leads' relation made more sense than what they have shown here.

Meera's parents were practicing good magic but Meera didn't. Then again, everyone knew Ayaan resembled Rudra Pratap but there was no mention of Savitri at all. It's not like the child version of Meera did something to protect Aayan.

But randomly Thakuma and some people said Meera is supposed to be Aayan's protector. It made zero sense to me.

And also they could show a gradual build-up but nothing of that sort happened. It's as if the leads are supposed to be together so suddenly they just fell in love.

The show is definitely better than crap saas-bahu serials but I have seen much better supernatural shows with proper build-up.

Only thing that is worth praising is Sheen and Hitesh's acting.

Otherwise, Ayaan's character is also annoying.
