Krushal seems locked for this role already since every article is mentioning him as finalized

So I don't think he's doing FL's father wala role agar woh jail mein hi baitha rahega.....more likely option is him playing ML starting from college track.

They will likely tweak some things for Hindi version depending on how long they want to show the childhood phase of the FL.
