What Akshara did was kidnapping and Abhinav aided and abetted to it. It's called parental child abduction. Legit thing amongst couple who are in divorce process where one parent hide the whereabouts of the child from other parent. In reality most parents probably know the existence of the child. Here Akshara committed fraud and hid that information from Abhi. Yes, Akshara and Abinav are kidnappers (or colloquially bacha chors).

Geetu on the other hand, didn't do any such thing. She is in Maira's life truthfully. And Maira loves her knowing that she is not her real mother. That bond created out of honesty (at least from Geetu's part) is more precious. But Armaan needs to face consequences of his actions. He is just as much of a kidnapper as his mil and fil.
