Now this makes sense. You are right, maybe it is because Geetanjali is a woman and in TV, women are made villains or sacrificial lambs as liked by people.

I am personally still reeling from people waiting for Armaan and Abhira to be together again, especially the ones who called Abhimanyu toxic.. in front of Armaan, Abhimanyu toh seems like a saint..

While I agree that Abhimanyu wasn't craving his child like Abhira was, that doesn't change the love both the kids had for their adoptive parents. Abhir didnt know the truth, so it makes sense that he didnt wanna be with his biological father because he never craved him, but Maira has also loved Geetanjali like a mother and vice versa, and that can't be taken away just because Abhira suffered while Abhimanyu hadn't.. he did mourn his kids dying..

When Armaan allowed Maira to call Geetu her mumma, he sealed that relationship so it doesn't matter if Maira knew the truth or not, she loved Geetu like a mother.

Abhinav case is way different from Geentanjali. Abhimanyu wasn’t searching for his kid for years. Here Pookie was actually born. Abhira searched her everyday. Oh I am not saying Abhira shouldn't get Maira, all am saying is that I dont agree with people saying who is Geetanjali to say where Maira should be or why should Geetanjali be allowed to talk to Maira on phone. I toh agreed Abhimanyu also deserved a space in his son’s life, the same way Abhinav deserved to be an important part of the same son's life, but saying Geetju has no rights is where I dont agree with.

Gen3, it was balanced, if they showed Abhinav-Akshara with Abhir then there was Aroohi-Abhimanyu with Ruhi. Both side leads was a parental figure to a child whether it’s their own or not.

Here Gen4, only Geentajli-Armaan was with Maira where as Abhira was suffering and cursing herself for years. This makes Armaan at fault. Agree Geentanjali has no fault but neither does Abhira so why should she give up her mothers right.

Definitely! I dont think Abhira should give up her rights, but Geetu isnt at fault too, so i believe she so also has a right to be around Maira.

Since the basis of the separation track is quite different. In Gen 3, Abhi ousted Akshara, and even after trying multiple times she could not reach Abhimanyu, and he was not willing to listen to her, so she broke off from him completely and started a new life with Abhinav. Plus, Abhinav kind of also saved her kid during the storm.

But whereas for Geetanjali, she was neither married to Abhimaan and Abhira did not break off from Armaan, it was him who stole the kid and ran away from her, not even giving a chance to Abhira to explain herself.

Sure, both Abhinav and Geetanjali took care of the kids like their own, but the circumstances were more in favour of Abhinav in gen 3 than for Geetanjali.

The situations are different but the love and care isnt and thats my point. It doesn't matter how they came upon the children that weren't biologically theirs, they loved those kids knowing that fact and here toh Maira also loved Geetu knowing that fact. This isnt about Abhimanyu or Armaan being wrong, this is purely about the parental figure and their love. Doesn't change that Abhira deserves her kid, but also doesn't change that Geetu also deserves her special space in Maira’s life, just like Abhinav did.

Abhinav would cry in front of Akshara repeatedly at the fact that he wasn't the biological father, even when Abhimanyu didnt want to separate the two, it was Abhinav's idea to make Abhir feel like a burden which essentially broke the kid and he didnt want to bond with Abhimanyu also, and when Abhimanyu took Abhir for his bday, Abhinav did come and snatch the kid. He didnt act psycho as in scream on Akshara to get back Abhir, but he was possessive enough, just had different way of showing so, and he was rightfully possessive, the kid was his too, same ways Maira is Geetu's too. Geetu is more insecure because Armaan doesn't understand her love or care for her feelings, Abhinav had Akshara who was his emotional crutch and he knew she wont let the kid go to Abhimanyu because she hated Abhimanyu, here Geetu knows Armaan will not let her be with Maira and go back to Abhira the first chance he gets, taking everything from her.

Didnt Abhinav and Akshara actually marry after Abhimnayu got engaged to Ruhi, which makes Abhinav the landlord and not the step father. And Armaan allowed Maira to call Geetu as mumma AND got engaged to her, so how is Geetu only a neighbor?

I didn't like Abhinav because he was too weak according to me, but I never said he wasn't Abhir's father. Just like he was Abhir's father, same way Geetu is Maira’s mother.
