If anything, once Raunak asks her to choose between her sons, she should choose Shiv since he doesn't have anyone in his corner and Raunak still has Zaveris. I think she will go to Randhawa house to talk to him and then we will get Smita-BM scene.
Hopefully PraShiv confrontation will happen before that so he will return home brokenhearted because Prart left but also still questioning things and then if we get a Shiv-Smita scene she might comfort him, tell him it wasn't his fault she left and that he shouldn't let his past cloud his judgement, Prarthana will never do that to him...we can get a good Shiv-Smita scene and then the next morning once he clears up his mess, he can start mission redemption and become the man Prarthana (and even Shiv himself) deserves. Smita can help him in his journey, heal his wounds, remind him time and again that he is worthy of love, etc. BM and Tanya can still plot to pair him up with Sonalika but he won't listen to them, he will be in his own world, healing, rebuilding, lots of Shiv-Smita and PraShiv scenes...maybe some scenes between Smita and Prarthana too.
Yes, she should have ran after him and I am mad at her for not doing that. If she really wants to help her son and make his life better and heal him after learning from Prarthana about his nightmares. She needs to try to fix his current problems to show she really cares. and yes, she should chose her son Shivansh over that villian. I hope we see all the scenes you mentioned above.
I will not be surprised if Villian calls her you are my sauteli maa soon.
there has to be a better reason why Kanti supported Smitha over Raunak when she came back for jail. It can be she mothered a motherless as her own child. She probably found her Shivansh’s replacement in form of Raunak. She had Kanti respect at that time and in beginning I think 2nd episode while I was skimming to learn about Prarthana I had learned Sneha feels she is not Smitha daughter because she loves Raunak more than her. It could be Kanti -Smitha had a deal when they got married for her to become mother of his son and he accepts her daughter as his. Kanti could not understand why Smitha is not giving so much love to Sneha. He had to remind her she is your daughter. Or she could be Kanti daughter .
To show she did not love Sneha because she could not love Shivansh in the beginning
But when she learned Shivansh is her son and he feels betrayed and she sees Sneha again she feels she needs to shower her own children with love.
My mom said a very old show there was a girl who came for revenge on her mom’s new family because she left them when she was little and her dad died. This was a Ekta show. I was shocked she recycles her old ideas so much. She said kanyadaan or something like that.
Also in Appnapan mom did not love her own kids like she loved the one she adopted because she thought it was her husband’s kid. She loved it so much over her own. She did not love her own kids because 2 of other biological kids were away from her.
