This is based on what the makers have shown us in the episode telecast...

Here's the theory I have been cooking since panmasala wedding was confirmed last week.

There are few observations everybody has about the show so far

1. Fate plays a big role in Mannat and Vikrants life.

2. Vikrant doesnt trust Mannat easily... he always supports his family... has blind faith on them and goes against Mannat.

3.Vikrant's all the love and care and declarations for Mannat have mostly happened when they are alone or he is alone. he is different person around Mannat.. and as episodes progress we see he is very different from RS family as well.

4. Nobody in the house cares about his feelings... all they want is to fulfill their own motives through him.

That said... the theory I have been working on... why did the makers show elaborate rituals for ManVik in the garb of ViMal wedding.... only to have ManVik wedding not happening in real sense but ViMal getting through inspite of Malla spoiling all her rasms.

Even the latest one of grah pravesh has happened for Mannat and not Malla. There might be a pehli rasoi next week.

So the theory is... like the Pandit said... it was an auspicious moment for the couple to bond and whosoever does it, gets married. Some folks have dismissed it but Mannat and Vikrant had a blood sindoor ritual at exactly that moment... so in a way, they are married secretly... just like all their rituals have happened privately.

This could be because... point no 1... fate plays a big role... it was in their destiny to get married at that point... but there's a catch... the person, the physical body and the emotions are Aman and not Vikrant.... Vikrant Saluja is dead since 23-24 years.... what exists is Aman... a living breathing human who has intense emotions for Mannat.

He has an identity given to him by Neetu and Ronnie... to suffice for their own loss.... Vikrant Saluja is not real.... he is a mirage... something that RoTu have kept alive all these years due to their trauma...

This is same entity/mirage/illusion that ARS wants for Malla... the same illusion Malla wants to claim from Mannat because she feels she cant be outsmarted by a plain girl like Mannat. As per point no 4... none care for his feelings... neither RoTu nor ARS Malla... they want to claim him for their own benefit. His emotions which are of a living being are ignored and manipulated.

So when the rituals completed and the blood sindoor happened it was between Mannat and Aman.... but on the surface it was for Vikrant and Malla... an identity she badly wants to be associated with... hence the jaap of MVS.

Vikrant Saluja the way he is ... is bound by intense devotion and blind trust to his family, because he is told he is Saluja and belongs to them and should not accept anyone who breaks his family. ARS and Neetu know this and exploit this... that's why neither are ever shown worried ki what would happen if Vik starts investigating on his own... they know he wont.... they manipulate that... blame and blackmail him and question his motives for Mannat which ends with him shouting at her and mistrust of her ... point no 2.

For Vikrant to truly see his family and the way they play around he needs to come out of his shell... which is the identity of Vikrant Saluja... Aman has to resurface and reborn... for him to take control over the situation and his emotions... for that Vik has to die... metaphorically... Vikrant the boy has died already... but the identity that Aman has got... has to go.... his truth needs to come out for him to see how he has been played around.

his world is going to come crashing down and everything that he has known or every relationship he has cherished will turn out fake.

Now, all the rituals of the wedding happened in private because like the rituals, Aman is also hidden... but it was in his fate that he get married at this stage in his life, at that moment... hence point no 3.

When Mannat met him for the first time, they met at a gurudwara, just like when Aman was going for his ardas... they didnt even exchange names, they need not ... Mannat didnt meet Vikrant Saluja... she met her BKB... BKB goes into action when Mannat is unsafe and vice versa... maybe a threat to any of them now will trigger Aman's memories.

He behaves differently around her... and he himself has said it and observed by others... and the audience.

Now when Aman/Vik is completely broken and desolate... it would take some help from Mannat and probably some fate for Aman to start coming out... Once he knows the truth, Vik/Aman can then rethink over why his family hid the truth and kept him away from Mannat... and why should he even bother to listen to them (point no 2 and 4)

Vikrant Saluja may never see sense in Mannat (no 2) but Aman will... and Aman will be the one to bring her back with full rights... or maybe start living away from RS family...

Now to those who think this is incest/EMA/jija saali and what not...

Understand point no 1 through this....

Vikrant Saluja doesnt exist... what exists is Aman... the tangible body..

Malla is married to a guy who is dead...

So this is technically none of the names called...

Had fate played a role differently and boy Vikrant was alive... Malla would have still married him and Mannat would have married Aman (who was linked to her on her birth)... there would have been 2 different persons physically...

That's what I mean when I say this ViMal wedding doesnt bother me anymore .... its linked to an identity and not a real person...

and seeing how they have built the story for Aish and Mallas motives... it is obvious they are bothered only about Vikrants money...as Aish dismissively said... gali ke kutte se bhi pyar ho jaata hai...

Once they get to know Vikrant Saluja is penniless, they will discard him too...

Mannat is linked to Aman by her fate... due to Aishs actions, who was Sonia Khanna then and not RaiSingh... Shruti kept Mannat safe when Aman wasnt around and Aman/BKB kept her safe when Shruti wasnt around...

Now that both of them are back... Mannat is fiercer and stronger... a matter of time before Aman is back!!!

Linking it to Muktas caption... Mannat will show a broken Aman how to love again, ru-b-ru karayegi ... when he would have all but lost everything.

I feel they could have still gotten away without the wedding... but then they didnt even focus on it much... thats an insignificant part of the story right now...

another reason why this could have happened though is they have changed the timelines from OG... like in the Mannat 2.0 track... all the talk is about money... Malla's kaand would have made no sense after Amans truth is out.... but the change to bring it parallel to ARS=Sonia might have necessitated some changes... and of course TRP pressure.

Tagging all of you since I have added some elements.....

Yes they should have started the love story and shown them both face things together.

This rinse & repeat is annoying. ARS Will keep making murder attempts, Neetu will continue saying iss kuddi ko iss ghar se nikalo & Nallika has a new dialogue: Mein Nallika V.S. hoon & kabardaar tum usse baat karo.

I want to see how this track will save them from BB.

This post/theory/rant is more of an observation and prediction from the OG.

The story is back on track with OG now...

The key hint is Ronnie.

Except for getting ViMal actually married and not engaged... there is very less diversion in ManVik story.

I was skeptical when they got ARSs truth out earlier than in OG... but it was to give Mannat an advantage and to make her struggle relevant to the proceedings.

Mannat wont be revealing the truth as of yet.. she is worried for Shruti. At most it will be for Malla (per spoilers) but no Vikrant wont know its Aish who is liver donor.

Gagan knows and I seriously worry his fate if Aish gets to know he made the papers

So as per OG, ManVik had broken up due to Amans truth... here it is Shruti's operation and Aish being donor. Like OG, this wont come out soon either. Mannat is hiding it from Vik like Cennet was doing and planning to leave the city.

Malla is firmly in his life... here as his wife... she will continue her kaands and would be openly vile... Malla Mannat confrontation which is expected next week is also in OG...

Vik will be clueless but his anger will subside to some degree and his affection for Mannat will show once in a while enough to rile up Malla and plan her next move. Will he get upset at Malla like Selim used to do? I sincerely hope so.

By this logic, there should be a financial fraud angle in near future with Mannat getting arrested. This is where bio dad may plug in. But it could be Aish and not Malla doing this.

Why Ronnie is a clue is because as per OG, he is initially in favour of Cennet (as a employee and even as potential love interest for Selim) but later turns against her when Neetu tells her the truth about Ali/Selim and he worries their secret may come out. Selim questions his changed attitude towards Cennet and he doesnt answer. Ronnie asking Vik to give attention to Malla and not Mannat was on those lines.

Hopefully if they follow OG, Neetu will be the one to change.... Mannat helped her patch up with Vik... But Neetu right now is too blind to see it. Malla over time will isolate Vik from Neetu, like she threw Neetu under the bus for the reception kaand and let Vik be angry at Neetu ... which Neetu is not foreseeing right now... In OG, when Melisa reveals the truth about Ali to Selim, thats when Neetu changes for the first time... till then she is in support of Melisa as her bahu.

Here too... it might happen... how I cant say ... but Neetu has to realize Mannat wont be separating her from Vik rather that would Malla. Her biggest worry is this... that Vik will go away.... he wont.. not when Mannat is around.

When this happens, RoTu end up going to Cennet and asking her to protect Vik by hiding his secret.

The question here is when will Malla be exposed... and why did ViMal take place.... my firm belief as the episodes progress is... that this is linked to Amans truth... Malla doesnt care about Vik.. all she wants is money.... unlike Melisa who wanted Selim and not his money... I have always believed Malla is the one who would be revealing the truth to everyone...

Had Malla been just a friend... she would have had an upper hand and connection with Vik (like certain someone from Mannats past life) ... we now know she is smart enough to know how to manipulate her family members... like I said in the previous post... nobody knows Mannat broke Viks heart and thats why he got drunk... all they know is he got drunk and had s*x with Malla.... they are not blaming Malla because as a man Vik should have had control over himself and she is their own... a happy girl they have seen growing up... why would she do something despicable is beyond their understanding... like how everyone was with Bobby... that he would do such a thing...

Malla is nicely playing victim and by engaging in the rituals, she is indirectly showing Vik is still interested in Mannat.. so anything she is doing is justified in protecting her suhaag.

For ViMal to end formally and officially, this truth about Aman has to come out in some way... or even the fact that he is adopted illegally. There can be no property transferred to him legally. Some element of truth if not the entirety.... maybe this Varun guy is introduced here for that... if he knows Vik is his brother that is or Vik starts having flashbacks because of him.

Only when Amans truth and Viks finances crop up would Malla show her true colors and RoTu will see what she has put their son through. Mallas interest in holding on to this marriage is more to do with defeating and demeaning Mannat than anything else... and Viks money... his feelings dont matter to her. All she wants is to trap him somehow so that he cant leave her. This is what she is counting on and knows the family will support her.

Worst case scenario is I expect this to run another month... ViMal is not going to end so soon... and not without something for Aman.

Only good thing is Malla's plans will not succeed... There's Mannat protecting Vik and Malla, disoriented with both set of parents is leaning towards Neetu who is not a master criminal like Aish.

Mannat meanwhile may decide to leave or transfer the shares to Vik and Gagan if things get heated up (I predict this would the malfunction video which Malla made and might leak to the media )

Aish's truth will be protected even if bio dad is revealed... Mannat, Shruti and Shalinis collective worry would keep them silent on this matter. No expectations from any of them that they would reveal to Vik. Harneet might... but dont think so either.

In all, I would say lets brace ourselves.... Malla is not going anywhere as of yet...

Earliest could be Ronnie's bday if Mukta wants to end this quickly

I somehow agree to your theory here Moor....I am just hoping that atleast one expose should be in front of Vikrant and not let him stay aloof every now and then ...honestly I am tired of Malla and her kaands....this time I wouldn't mind a male villain aka Varun to hover on Mannat for making Vikrants realisation of fear of losing Mannat....I don't know but sick of Malla and her jaaps. .

I thought Raveena, Puneet are the type who would watch the fun and make sarcastic comments in between. Everyone's anger is directed towards Mannat, which becomes a boring watch, after a point. They need to up their game.

They have really under utilized this duo.

If not Puneet Mannat romantic angle atleast they could have shown both still hatching some plan against Neetu & ARS as Raveena is still pissed off at both for Bobby being in jail. But feels like now their anger is even subdued in front of other SM members and it is just reserved for Mannat.

Few more points

ManVik had a very easy going relationship till this fake proposal thing happened...

Mannat would have agreed easily and their issues regarding trust, faith and anger would have cropped up later...

Malla Neetu might have still played the same games and that would have led to ManVik separation...

This is the first time that they have conflict due to each other... thats why I love the fact that they communicate... had it been a married relationship the expectations would have been different and it would have been another run of mill story 😉

ManVik and AmaNat are different.. and we love them for that 😍

Vik made a statement about the fateful night... that he doesnt have proof that he didnt do it... and its for the first time he is going to experience what Mannat always did... Bina saboot ke bharosa...

I would love if Mannat doesnt tell him about Mallaa kaand but shows her trust in him 🥰 let him experience what she means about trust.

And someone should point out that had it been Mannat in Mallas place, they would have blamed her and not Vik.
