Certainly, I respect your opinion...however, I would not call her a "legend" but definitely a solid star. To me, she lacks a certain aura to make her - already - a "legend" although I like her watching in her character-oriented roles.

I wonder if there is even a (living) Hindi actress under 50 called "a legend".

Then how can you conclude that kareena has surpassed Rani ? Are you talking about social media clout ? Then she is not even a contender as she is not in it and prefers a reclusive life .

There is something about kareena which makes her not to be taken seriously..so legend is a NO NO..that is also why she doesn't have a padmashree which her contemporaries, who even came much after her, have..(PC, VB)
