Yes, the character married him to protect him. She was his bodyguard. Isn't there any other way protect someone? Why would someone marry a child to give protection?

Kuch itv shows mein maid afford ni karsakte toh bahu le aate hai wese hi iss show mein bechare bodyguard afford ni karpaye toh bahu lekar aagaye
