Mogambo (Mr. India)
He had more than 300 films to his credit and was one of the most acclaimed actors in Bollywood. Having worked on international projects like Indiana Jones, Late Amrishpuri had a booming voice that was impossible to ignore and his costume in the movie made a lasting impression on one and all who loved his histrionics. Like in Shekhar Kapur's Mr. India where he played the villain by the name of Mogambo was one role that would solely be registered in our minds for the unique way that Amrishpuri played it out and for his imposing attire as Mogmabo. Attention to detail was paid with regards to the mole on his right cheek and his distinct hairstyle including the suit that he wore which was given ample importance.
Shakal (Shaan)
He made bald look sexy and very fashionable. Khulbhushan Kharbhanda was one of the character artistes of the 70's and Shakal was one of the many roles that he took up as villain.
But the difference with Shakal was that he needed a particular gait that the actor had to pick up and of course that Shakal was supposedly bald.
Khulbhushan would always be dressed in two piece suits with a round neck collar that distinguished him as Shakal.
Shahenshah (Amitabh)
Amitabh immortalized the image of the 'angry young man' and his role as Vijay Kumar Srivastava aka Shahenshah was only a further witness to that. The most striking part about Big B's get up was the black jacket that he wore in the film.
His beard along with his wavy grey hair made him look perfectly in sync with his character who had a lot of frustration within him.
Shahenshah was a film about a crusade against the social system and Amitabh's get up made sure he looked his part.
Gabbar Singh
One of the famous villains in the Hindi film industry, Gabbar Singh struck terror in the faces of young and old alike with his portrayal as an evil dacoit in the biggest blockbuster Sholay.
His get up as a bandit hailing from Ramgadh with that attire in complete black rightly depicted a person with evil in mind.
Amjad Khan who played out the now immortal villain of Hindi cinema fitted the role due to his portly stomach and curly hair along with the grizzly beard made him the most appropriate to play Gabbar.
Chachi 420
Kamal Hassan is known to be one of the most versatile actors in India. And that is precisely why he took it upon himself to play the role of a 60 year old lady in the comic movie Chachi 420.
To look the part the actor had to go through hours of make up and on a regular basis too. Playing a woman has its own pros and cons and Kamal Hassan too was no exception to the cause as he had to drape around a sari and wear spectacles to look like 'Laxmi Godbhole.
But if one had to go by the performance of this super actor one had to say that Kamal carried out the difficult role with aplomb.
Aamir Khan is known to be a perfectionist and he proved it to be right with his portrayal as the title role in the historical film Mangal Pandey.
The attire of a British sergeant with the cap in place was enough to have audiences drool over his looks. Aamir wore the exact costume of that of a British soldier.
His famous moustache, his shoulder length hair and the manner in which he twirled his moustache made him pretty famous among his countless fans both male and female.
Gulshan Grover (Sir)
Funnily though Chappan 'Jimmy' Takli was the name of the character that famous baddie Gulshan Grover played in this crime drama Sir which also starred good friend Naseeruddin Shah in the title role.
Gulshan has known to be the most liked about villains around in Bollytown and to play Chappan Tikli he had to have scars alongside his face and long hair drawn back behind.
Gulshan has played villain so many times in films but this must have been something that would have tested him to the hilt. But we think he made it pretty good.
Suniel Shetty (Main Hoon Na)
Apna Anna aka Suniel Shetty played the baddie Raghavan Datta who is an ex-army man turned militant.
And for his role Suniel had long shoulder length hair and to keep his character in sync with his army background, he mostly appeared in jackets or clothes which were mainly green in colour.
The actor's French beard and a trademark cap which he wore almost throughout the movie made him look like a villain who was also stylish.
Jackie Shroff (Sai Baba)
Playing the character of someone who is as pious and holy a person as Satya Sai Baba who happens to be a religious deity must have required a lot of guts and gumption. But apna Jackie too was up to the challenge and went through a routine to loose immense weight to be in shape similar to the saint.
Also he had to grow a long white beard and wear mostly white attire. But Jackie Shroff went all out to look the part of Satya Sai Baba.
Having been the most stylishly dressed actors in Bollywood this must have been a welcome change to Jackie.
Salman Khan (Tere Naam)
All his die hard fans all over the world were initially taken aback when their favourite actor played Radhe Mohan, a mental patient. For the first time Bollywood witnessed the macho Salman having wavy hair till almost his shoulders that parted right in the middle of the head.
Sallu's hair was so long that it almost reached his nose but the actor stuck to the hairstyle and eventually won over the hearts of many who loved his appearance in Tere Naam. His haircut turned out to be such a rage among the masses that almost every young college going youth wanted to ape his look.
In that sense Salman is truly a trendsetter
which Get up impress you most pls commmmmeeeeeeennnnnttttttt
