I like this song even though it's a remake. Sushant Digvikar/Rani Ko-He-Nur is a drag queen in real life too. He's a good singer. He has a unique ability to sing in both male and female voices. Apart from being an actor and singer, he's highly educated. He completed masters in industrial and organisational psychology. I'm using the pronoun, 'he' because he himself said in an interview that people can use he, she or they for him.

Alchemy and Nutmeg, I couldn't read more than 1000 pages for June's reading challenge, unlike April and May. I won't get pro reader badge this time. I will get star reader badge for the first time. But the good thing is that I'll get pride prose badge because I fulfilled the criteria of reading 500 pages of LGBTQIA+ themed books. One of the LGBTQIA+ themed books I read is Too Bright to See. It's a very interesting book. I liked it very much. I gave it 4.5 stars out of 5. It's about a transgender boy named Bug. He was born as a girl but always felt uncomfortable when he saw himself in the mirror. But he couldn't understand the reason. Then his uncle's spirit helped him understand his gender identity.

I like a quote from the book:

"Trying to picture myself as a teenage girl is like staring at the sun, too bright to see, and it hurts."

This sentence beautifully captures the emotions of a transgender person.

Ahh. Sounds like a good book! I'll make sure to read it this month!
