Hate is a strong word. I don't per se hate fiction but yeah, I never liked it. In fact I used to skip their scenes. To me it was so much of a puppy love. I felt Daya's character/professionalism break so much during those times just because he was protective of her. Meanwhile, Shreya, who as an individual cop, was doing well but then became too smitten with Daya and was suddenly shown as pitiful which got annoying after a point.

And then there was my separate vendetta against Shreya where in one episode she instigated ACP against Abhijeet (the audacity) and also along those days Abhijeet and Daya's friendship almost broke. I think that was one of their major fights ever. No one comes between my Pookie duo 😭😭 I am so unforgiving when it comes to them.

p.s. I absolutely do not have anything against the actress though. She is a good actress but tbh, makers did her character Shreya, dirty and the result being I couldn't like her longer. 🤷‍♀️

Ok firstly Daya was much more immature when he was with Sonali and Purvi (different purvi)

Secondly Shreya didn't instigate ACP....and the fight wasn't orchestrated by her....she had no idea about the love letter fiasco and the involvement of her father so how is she responsible? If it's anything it was Daya's fault for not expressing his feelings directly and Abhijeet's fault for not being honest.

Plus it was much more mature than Abhi - Tarika flirting

Well honestly giraftar series wala i still understand but the fight you are talking about i never understood what mistake shreya did in that usko to pta bhe ni tha about that letter neither she told Abhi sir to lie they were two grown up guys who were both right and wrong on their own places

Bold i agree i know she was wrong and she did apologized too Yes that apolozy should have been in front of everyone but makers are makers for this same reason

Plus shreya was not smitten by daya in one episode she got gradually attracted it started from episode when Abhi sir was doubted in a case where Tarika got injured too i guess daya sir pays for the loss one boatman faces due to this mess than that children siblings case where a brother takes blame for her sister and dareya goes to their house his care towards those kids and everyone is what has attracted her towards him

Yeah, I agree... Daya does tend to lose his senses when in love.

2nd paragraph - i think we are talking of different episodes. I don't remember the name of the epi that I am talking about, unfortunately. It was when Abhijeet was planning to take a transfer and leave because he couldn't tolerate the friction with Daya.

As for Daya's fault being bigger in the Shreya's wedding fiasco - absolutely agree. His silence destroyed what could have been.

3rd paragraph - I am not a big fan there either. For me, I think a show like CID can survive without romance. It does not necessarily have to have it but meh 😐

Let's just go with, i couldn't connect with the ship 🤷‍♀️

I think I am talking about the giraftar series not the letter one (but am not sure). As I vaguely remember, Shreya in self defense shoots a critical suspect who CID needed for further investigations. Somewhere along the lines Daya was shot on the arm, blame came on Abhijeet. Daya gets kidnapped too, I think. Daya on a phone call even says that Abhijeet shot him etc etc... That was the episode when I had started getting a little swept away from her.
