He got far too used to pulling the ‘boss’ card on Mannu to do his bidding, even though not in malice from Vikrant’s pov, (unlike the rest of them) you could tell it bothered Mannat a lot- a constant reminder of her garibi and need to stay in employment for Shruti Maa, in comparison to his social status.
