NUMBERS are very important ..I believe you liked LSC too but nobody remembers it fondly today for the simple reason it was a DISASTER!

I agree with what you write about the film but I don't have the same feeling about the deap-down reason in Aamir to do this remake. However, if the movie is applauded, I'm happy - because of the recognition the subject gets.

However, LSC is remembered fondly by THOSE WHO WATCHED IT( which I believes are very few in number lol)

I think I could have liked an Indian version of Forrest Gump, too, but Aamir's facial expressions in the promotion material completely turned me off. I tried to keep watching PK because of the subject but it became one of the very rare movies I didn't watch until the end - and only because of Aamir's 'mimic art'. However, I suppose, in SZP, his acting isn't that 'artificial'.
