That show was iconic in showing women's self respect, unlike this show where Abhira has only lectures and no self respect. I used to think it's just pure love and maybe thats why she is clouded, especially since she had no family.. BUT for her to do that even after she got her family and their support, just shows she is just a pick me women, who wants to cry and scream that she is different while all she is full of air.

That's what the point is. Showing his redemption and him and Abhira getting back together is just icky.. I have no other term for it because it just goes to show that women should give up self respect for husband and child, and they have a daughter, is that what she wants her child to learn?

In another one GHKKPM, FL is Police officer, but her MIL has already slapped her twice, thrown her out of the house, snatched her children and she is still doing mummy ji, they are my family, my husband has given their resp to me. All channels say we want to show progressive content. Progressive ke naam pe sirf LGBT content and cuss words are shown. Baaki FL ki haalat to gali ke kutte se bhi badtar hai sab mein. Not one FL having some dignity and self respect.

Oh the minute she realizes Abhira is her mother, she'll be like who Geetu. She has Armaan ka khoon and upbringing, so she won't care that Geetu is essentially a tissue paper for both father and daughter, that's why I feel sad that she has been shown good, but am sure she'll be made into a hidden villan for Abhira Armaan reunion.

So true... progressive has become equal to lgbt, cuss words, alcohol and smoking only, rest the FL have no self respect and are actually getting worse with each generation leap being shown.

OG Akshara was a strong wife and mother, then came Naira who always ran but was still a strong mother to her kids, then came next gen Akshara who stood up against her abuser but always needed a man to survive until both her lovers died and she didn't meet another father ji, and then this one, who gives lectures and wants to make everyone stand up against their abuser but herself goes running happily to hers to do gulu gulu under the blanket. Instead of being better than last gen, they go one step backwards, next gen will be sati pratha believing FL.
