Completely agree with you. As Mannat says there is no love without trust. I understand he cannot not trust his mom, but he has not even given thought to Mannat's allegations. Not even tried to find if it was someone else drugging him and trapping his mom for the same. He could have investigated and showed Mannat I trust you and also trust my mom at the same time, so I am going to find the truth.

His love now seems shallow to him. How can any woman in Mannat's place trust this man enough to spend her life with him.

Writers are doing such a shoddy job with Vikrant's character to stretch the episodes.

Example, Vikrant spoke about his blackouts and how he trusts Mannat to Neetu. Next day he is yelling at her infront of everyone again and no sign of finding out if he was indeed being drugged

Honestly I feel so bad for Mannat when they all threaten her to leave or to throw her out of the house just because she has no one 😭 . I am waiting to see how Vikrant reacts to Malla's allegations since she has a strong support system.

With all due respect, I have a different opinion on it. In his own words, he would have done the same thing for any person trapped in fire, not just Mannat. That makes him a good human being, not his love for Mannat great according to me.

Of course !! If you would have watched the show from beginning you wouldn’t have said that but anyways it’s my pov ..you won’t have to agree to it ..

I have been watching the show from the very first episode. I still think Vikrant's love is coming across as very shallow. But like you said it is my opinion alone.

It's inability of writers to show consistency in his character, one side he's protective lover ,the other side he's protective family man, ignoring and not trusting his love...not respecting her ...Moreover he is made dumbo and fool , not analyzing things to drag the drama till mandap..

this I agree, its on the writers to stretch this drama and making him get manipulated.
The writers did this deliberately to make Mannat the mahan FL who can do multitasking and infact do everything ..which is as unrealistic as possible.
