Maybe that was true decades ago. These days, truly beautiful people rarely get cast. Most current gen actors lack both talent and screen presence. But since beauty is subjective, people tend to overhype them anyway.
I watch some old itv shows and I still can't believe the state of itv today, instead of better we're offer recycle stories in a different wine bottle and with no talent and boring faces. Talent was so important back then actors had to really audition now it's how many SM followers you have with no talent. It's crazy great actress that started at 18-20's 10 years later are considered too old and not on our screen. We have producers hiring 14 to play FL roles and romance grown men on screen. I was really interesting in the story of Ghum 3 but when the story got interesting they killed the character instead of just replacing the actress if she was really the issue as they claim but no they killed the character.
