Haha this just came up in my TL....what a vintage Runak scene at 2:13.....Ani apologizing to Jhanak for being rude to her, then trying to encourage and motivate her to make her career.....and saamne se Jhanak saying "aap mera maraa hua muh dekhenge"

Wohi toh test hai....how long can Leena run the same copy/paste where pretty much everyone can predict the next track/scene in their sleep

Jhanak S1 diverged from Imlie in many ways....the forced shaadi was done differently and most importantly, the FL Jhanak herself never gave validity to her shaadi. This is polar opposite of Imlie where Imlie always considered her shaadi valid from day one but didn't impose it on Adi.

Secondly, the level to which Ani made efforts to make Jhanak's career.....even Adi never did anything to that extent for Imlie ....but still Jhanak never appreciated Ani's efforts and just kept threatening to kill herself to get away from him....lol

And it flopped as everyone saw....because their "variation" of showing the elder sister as the FL and both being real sisters from the get go made the plot all the more gross....lol in Imlie, FL-PL didn't know they were half-sisters for a long time.

Only successful Hindi remake of Ishti is Imlie and so far no one else has been able to match its success on Hindi TV.....Leena and the SP management team don't want to accept that the stars only aligned for Imlie in terms of casting, writing, execution....you can't lazily repeat the formula so easily over and over.

And Leena's casting standards have dropped extra badly off late....she seems unable to find leads with chemistry anymore. Krushal-Hiba had chemistry for Jhanak 1, that is why it worked too.....but seeing Gen 2 casting toh

Ishaani "story" is just about a random gunda harrassing her after 20 years also....so no one is missing anything if they skip those scenes....this is Leena's writing standard these days

Yar yesterday I was rewatching old episodes

That one episode where Jhanak realised it's Tejas not Avinash on mandap. Then other one of Aniruddha came to Jhanak room for applying ointment and giving medicine for her foot. Then next I watched Aniruddha Birthday Demands episode...mtlb kya hi the wo episodes ❤️😄

Pure nostalgia tha yar😅😅

And end up giving gaalis to Leena again 🤡🤣
