Anyone is watching Prithviraj?
Nope, I haven't even checked out this show. These days, they're making a mess of history shows, so I'm quite wary, to be honest.
I’m watching it on and off, not regularly. But now sometimes I wonder if I used to enjoy historical shows on TV earlier simply because I was younger, or if they were genuinely more interesting and well-made back then. Lately, though, it feels like every historical show follows the exact same pattern, including this one on Prithviraj Chauhan. The storyline is almost a copy-paste of what we've already seen in Bharat Ka Veer Putra Maharana Pratap, Chakravarti Ashoka Samrat, or Punyashlok Ahilya Bai.Originally posted by: Bhavisweet03

There’s always one queen playing the antagonist, constantly scheming to get her son or son-in-law on the throne. The entire plot revolves around never-ending conspiracies to kill the hero, and somehow, they never get caught. Just when someone is about to reveal the truth, they get killed off. It’s so repetitive that it gets exhausting.
I watched a few episodes in the first week, missed the second week entirely, and when I tuned into the third week’s first episode, it felt like I hadn’t missed a thing. The scenes were almost identical, and it wasn’t hard to guess what would happen next. It’s the same recycled storyline, just with different historical characters and a new cast. Honestly, it’s becoming dull and not worth the time.

Yes so true, now ITV's quality has a whole has gone down..Even mythological and period shows aren't the same..Few years back they were really good and stuck to reliable sources and were relatable..But nowadays it's lot like the cliche saas bahu drama with a scheming mother, over acting and lots of unwanted villains or characters creating problems..Everything is constantly recycled..
