Khan did the correct thing of getting imlie get involved with Aryan and closing off the bigamy .. imlie never slept with Aditya and she got married to Aryan to move on ..which was the correct message

Bigamy was already closed off in Imlie once Adi divorced Malini and only considered Imlie his wife after realizing his love for Imlie. Gul only brought in Aryan cuz Gashmeer was leaving. Otherwise Aditya Imlie would have been endgame.

Gul in general always kept the dignity and integrity of Adi ka character and improved on the Ishti characterizations. Leena is a man hater who always shows men as cheaters….it will be the same in Jhanak 2.0 also.

I can’t imagine why people would enjoy reruns of such a tacky and sleazy show like Ishti Kutum. The few clips I saw on YT were very unimpressive and just looked low budget and sleazy.

Aditya Imlie still have rewatch value because their story was never sleazy and infact was shown in very soulful manner.

That's where I disagree. There was no point to show imlie falling in love with another man. Forget about bigamy both loved each other and wanted to live together. Bur Aryan angle was brought because gashmeer wanted to leave.

Gul khan didn't do it to show the "right thing" she did it because she had no choice other than to bring a new love angle for imlie

Why is Imlie moving onto a new man being called the right thing? Adi had already cut off from Malini. She was the one forcing her way back into his life. But people want to say the right message is that Adi didn’t get the love of the one he actually loved and he should be stuck with rapist criminal Malini while Imlie should move on with a random businessman who was manhandling her from day one? That was “right ending”? 😂

Ohhh ab samajh aaya. This is same group of people who feel Imlie could never really have been in love with Adi cuz of the age gap and it was just “infatuation” caused by forced marriage

ishti kutum is very popular.. and has good recall compared to sreemoyee ( anupamaa) in Bangla serials .. Infact Kusum dola did well but was not that a big hit compared to Ghum S1 in Star jalsa

See imlie started failing after gashmeer gave in his papers .. it was doing better than Ghum but after Adi got butchered dropped out of top 5

Like I said, it’s just bizarre that Bengali people feel recall value for such an obviously sleazy and tacky story. Maybe that’s just what the taste of Bengali audience is that they like sleazy things 🤷‍♀️
