I actually enjoyed Sonia Khanna's DNA in Mannat. ARS too needs to taste her own medicine and who best to give than her own DNA. What I didnt like was Mannat trying to reason Malla's words due to alcohol and didnt try to be more firm. But, its needed for the 'drama'.

Also according to IF article Mannat has blackmailed ARS demanding money. Maybe she have turned into Robin Hood and left it for chawl people. ARS pays people to do and hide her crime, Mannat too is contributing in depleting her 'fortune'. No wonder she wants the whole Saluja property in Vikrants name and marry Malla to him.
