Actually I can relate to the FL because I am a nerd too and wear specs. smiley36

Maybe I'll enjoy watching it.

That was the reason it was hit

Most middle class family girls were nerds wearing big big chashma but had big dreams

Jassi was what most girls felt was themselves only

They all could identify with her

But this show is more than 20 yrs old

So not sure how much u will like

Be prepared many episodes are there

Close to 3 years I guess

It's mainly for female audience who were like jassi themselves that time

Forum discussion are enough u can laugh at craziness level of that time

Now times have changed

Not sure new audience will enjoy

That's not the reason. I've watched many shows which were targetted for female audience (like Grey's anatomy). It's just that I can't watch romantic shows. Not a fan of romance genre.

Ik i contradicted myself by mentioning Grey's but i usually eye rolled at the "romantic" stuff that went on in the show.

I had tried to see that too

But it was westernised

Here they kept check on how much Indian audience will accept

The male lead in ugly Betty was womaniser

I think ugly Betty was before that not 2006

And I m amused

All of sudden new audience for jassi 😄😄

As far as I remember, Armaan was also a womaniser in the initial episodes. He changed after falling in love with Jassi.

Yeah they made him the traitor who betrayed CID teamsmiley19

I hope this is just a plan to catch the real spy red handed and I wish he returns to the show.

Jassi was not exactly a romantic show. Yes, there were elements of romance. But it was more about the girl, Jassi's life, other people's attitude towards her, their perception of Jassi and her transformation. I didn't watch all the episodes. I also don't have enough patience to watch so many episodes.

Yeah even i was surprised when I noticed CID bureau set while watching Mrithyudand for the first time. I thought many would notice it but no one did.

Maybe those old shows used to reuse the same set without much changes unlike shows nowadays..
