Why don't Indian makers create shows like Zindagi Gulzar Hai? It's not a masterpiece. But it's definitely a well-made show. It's not at all melodramatic and romance is subtle. Dialogues are good too. Nowadays, it seems the dialogues of Indian shows are written by kids.
