You are absolutely right about the two-timing bit. The saddest part for me when Mannat tried to compose herself was how she was remembering all the beautiful moments they had together over the last few months. Any girl in that situation will feel that if her guy has proposed marriage to another girl in front of both families then to reach that stage he must have been doing the same things with that girl too.
That's an obvious conclusion and a really heart breaking one.
Because in the store room BTS when he is hovering around her (which by the way looked like workplace harassment to me) she begs him to stay away and says that go and win the trust of the girl you are going to marry, and leave me alone. That was such a befitting statement in those circumstances. We know it's a prank, but she doesn't.
Totally agree with you. In the storeroom BTS, felt really bad for Mannat. Vikrant invading her private space given that he's proposed marriage to another woman totally seemed like harassment. The way she panicked upon realising that Neetu is coming was heartbreaking.
Now that Malla played her trump card of Mannat trying to steal her fiance, every time Mannat realises that she has romantic feelings for Vikrant, she'll feel like a baddie. Neetu’s words about her trying to honey trap Vikrant will resurface in her mind.
Knowing how adamant Vikrant has become in shaking out any reaction from Mannat, he'll use every opportunity to get closer to her to tease her. Imagine the emotional turmoil poor Mannat will be going through. Parallel to this, Malla would definitely sprinkle her emotional drama onto Mannat.
There's tension regarding her Shruti maa's health in the back of her mind... Wading through all these, Mannat has the task of spying on ARS.
And there's our Head Chef Puneet to blast at her and pinpoint her mistakes!
And yes, she has got a wedding to plan! Both the bride and groom of the supposed wedding are draining Mannat.
