itv doesn't care about character arcs or good story or most importantly healthy relationships. And this is not the first time a ML has done something so horrible. Infact they are not even writing something original they're copying imlie and imlie's ML was 10 times more horrible since the start and still FL forgave him and they even had another kid together. As for endgame i really don't get the concept of endgame in dkp world but in the current gen and scenario if they were supposed to separate these two forever things would've been different post leap like AA would've been introduced pre leap or during leap for abhira to have a stronger bond with him. Plus this whole ott gareebi wouldn't be there if it wasn't for Armaan to feel guilty about later And they wouldn't been shooting new flashbacks with the couple. The whole premise of the leap is how Maira brings her parents closer so that'll play out. Even after such horrible track Abhimaan and Rohit are still getting good hype on SM so they also need that. Even in last gen no matter what was going on in the show offscreen they used to promote AbhiRa as the lead pair. Plus honestly endgame and moving on wala concept dkp ko samjh aata bhi nahi hai. Anupamaa and Akshara ka move on hi dekh lo

@bold - May be DKP writers will do something hatke this time and show us Abhira's happy and peaceful journey with Anshuman post leap where he will help her raise from poverty, Vidya and Kaveri might adopt him and treat him as "Anshuman" only

Honestly, not a legacy viewer but have read enough things abt previous Gen's so I also don't get the end game concept in Rishtaverse but that's the most used word now in fandom

I haven't analyzed TRP yet but TRP post-leap jumped from 1.6 to 1.9 which didn't happen for Gen 3 till last week. This leap worked for them no matter how baseless it may appear. Audience like intrigue, Gen 2 got 4 plus as viewers anticipated Kartik-Naira's face off, Kartik-Kairav's reunite. Here viewers anticipate Abhira-Maira reunion and want to see Armaan-Abhira's face off and confrontation.
