It's official! Ranbir and Deepika are a couple. The most talked about couple in tinsel town cozied up to each other in Australia during the shoot of Bachna Ae Haseeno and declared to the world their love for each other, turning rumours into reality. Ranbir has found his soul mate in Deepika but that doesn't mean he has forgotten his old friends.
We are talking about Ranbir's best friend and Saawariya co-star, Sonam Kapoor. After wrapping his maddeningly hectic schedule in Europe where he was shooting with hottie Bipasha Basu, Ranbir returned to Mumbai. Unfortunately, his lady love Deepika was not in town this time to receive him. But mom Neetu Kapoor and sister Riddhima gave him a warm welcome. Deepika's absence gave Ranbir some time off to catch up with old friends.
Ranbir met none other than his best friend and first leading lady Sonam Kapoor at a suburban five star hotel. An eyewitness told us Ranbir and Sonam were very comfortable with each other. Both were seen chatting, laughing and enjoying every bit if each other's presence. They had dinner together, went to the pub and left together in their cars.
It seems Ranbir's committed status is not a bother to Sonam, who knows Ranbir since quite sometime now. Their association goes back to the time when they used to assist ace filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The bond grew stronger during the making of Saawariya when Deepika was not in Ranbir's life.
Ranbir's fondness and closeness with friend Sonam, despite the fact that Deepika is not comfortable with it tells us that Ranbir believes in deciding for himself and is not somebody who can be tied down.
It also seems Ranbir is taking ggod use of Deepika's absence. All that we can tell Sonam and Deepika is, Bachna Ae Haseeno ; after all, men will be men!
