The name maira doesn't go with the vibe and background of the show. Its a arab name while the show has rajasthani backdrop. There are so many good names in hindi but offcourse makers couldn't think of any.

Yes, you are right that Maira is not a Rajasthani name. I think they tried to keep kid's name matching Naira and Naksh . Isliye shayad Maira and Daksh (just an assumption based on names)

And of course,In recent times after covid there is no back-drop type name like Marathi, Rajasthani..

I observed people name whatever they want, Like anything they like wheather that particular name exist or not but yeah,

Change is the only constant..

As a Rajasthani I prefer Maira name is far better than Abhira.

Though in real life I didn't listened it somewhere yet but it's good name.

I think among all the leads akshara is a only name which resonated with the rajasthani vibe of the show . Be it naira , abhira or maira all seemed forced combinations .

Infact I always found Naira as name of fl was too modern for a traditional show like yrkkh . It suited well in her childhood as she had an upbringing in Cape town .

Abhira was a couple ship name , it is actually a weird name though . Ok as a hashtag #️⃣ .

You seems to be a Marwari or felt like attended one wedding atleast.

Mama bhat/Maira/Mairo,

This is a ritual in which Bride or Groom's maternal uncle,Mean their mom's brother come for the wedding of their neice or nephew whatever the case maybe.

Im this ritual,Mama is the main person, Because Mumma do tilak ceremony of Mama on the enterance ceremony and then usually all material family come and she did tilak for all people but called a Mama bhat,

Bhat refers to a particular gift type ritual,Mama bring a lot of gifts for the whole family of her sister,Mainly for their sister,Their Jija ji and the one who is gonna Wedding soon..

They hand over the gifts like Gold,Silver, Saree,Gehna,Sweets,Some other essential to their respective blood related family.

It is considered in Rajasthan that if we assume the wedding cost is 100 percent so,Mama bhat gives relief of atleast 20 percent in the wedding because they are attributing in the wedding as well of their neice/nephew.

And it is a compulsory rasam,I saw it in every other household.

And there is another rasam as well,In India in other states it is called shadi ka shagun but in Rajasthan people call it-

Baan.

Baan started on the day Haldi happened.

Yeah,Here haldi started 3-4 days earlier usually,In movies I saw it happened om same day before barat,I don't know though maybe in other states as well haldi maybe Happened some days before,Just speculating.

So,In baan anyone who comes wedding gives Shagun like whatever they wanna gibe 10,20,1000,5000 rupees as per their choice and one perosn note it down in the book for future reference,Like they give us 200,So we have to give them 400 rupees this type.

Baan ended on the day when food ceremony Happened,Mean Bhojan.

Baan like doesn't really attributes much but it's like 1-2 percent max. of wedding cost..

20-30 thousand minimum I guess.

and Baan is not taken from sister, Buaa and all related family.

After akshara all names were mix of ship name. I was there till naksh cause that was interesting. Naira stretched it. Hated kairav. Abhira abhir is too much

Maira someone said apparently in tamil or some other language it's a gaali so 🤣🤣

They could have kept myra spelling but zabardasti connection to naira when the show itself has no connection with that gen.

Good riddance with the akshara name. There was only one akshara

Maira is a very pretty name, even though it's not Rajasthani. I don't think they give Rajasthani names to female leads. Naira and Abhira are not Rajasthani names.

Initially i thought the girl playing Maira might not be the best casting choice as she looks too tall and grown up , but the kid is just 6 years old in real and she is slowing growing on me, she has such an innocent face and voice.

Yeah I too admire Dkp for choosing best child actors in their shows..

Wheather it's Naksh,Naira,Kairav,Shivu,Abhir,Ruhi,Ananya,Yash,Krishna,Vansh,Krish or Maira dkp really cooked here.

But what they do wrong is making scenes non sense by expression of someone else..

Recent example that gaze my eyes was first episode Maira was good there but expression of her Daddu was too much,I thought why Dkp it is totally looking over sense.

I am talking about that Ambrella renting scene.

Even because of Daddu's expression wholw scene looked ruined but Maira and Geetanjali was too godo there.

Same thing,In first episode,

The Shopkeeper and Armaan's fight over a toy.

What I mean to say,If you watched that scene we can clearly see Dkp was trying to made the shopkeeper Lalchi,Ghatiya or what else,So that Armaan could be shown good.

And this is the problem in every other episode,They show and gain sympathy from Audience for their leada by showing others villain type..

In generation 4 there are too much a scenes like this scene where every other person depicted in same style like shop keeper..

For example-

To show Abhira sympathetic they will show shopkeer angry,Lalchi..

I don't know the exact scenes but it happened a lot.

Like wheather it is a perosn like Sabjiwala, Shopkeer,House rent wala,College administration people,Other lawyer's,even any stranger doing gossips like Gossip auties or uncles,Clients of Armaan and Abhira, Hospital staff or any other professionals staff,Doctor,Nurse..

Every signle person other than Goenkas or Poddars who have 5 minute harly cameo shown like full of Lalchi,Hawas se pujari,Angry, Unprofessional and I don't know what else.

These scenes make Yrkkh ruined..

My personal Unpopular opinion.

For me in yrkkh 4,

The first 3 month was Very good..

Contract Marriage track.

Then I never felt for it.
