It’s a flurry of rumors again this weekend just like it has been all month to keep releasing a few new names and get buzz for Gen leap 😂….

Ghoom phir ke they are coming back to the names that supposedly “rejected” the show earlier….lol now they are portraying this Arijit as back up option after Shakti Arora rejected the show. Lol

And that Twinkle looks nothing like Jhanak. Riya would look more believable as her Beti. Anyways IF waale bhi are just jumping on the new names without having clarity on who’s playing what 🤷‍♀️😂

apparently leena wanted Gen leap in Feb bcoz she doesn’t have the budget to afford this cast. They all got a raise in December 2024 for having to shoot for 1 hour episodes. This Twinkle was SUPER desperate to play Jhanak in Gen 1 and I remember reading a bunch of articles of her crying about how she lost the role to Hiba.....she'd felt that being a dancer herself, she had a stronger chance of bagging the role but makers went with Hiba instead as a more known face

I guess Leena went back to the rejected pile to find actors for this gen since most other people have said no

As per my personal pov Hiba was a good choice to be casted as Jhanak because more than dance I think innocent face with natural beauty was the pre-requisite for this role. Twinkle don't have that innocence on her face. She might be suitable for PL only but FL will not work out for her

I have a question....lol if the reason they went for gen leap was BUDGET PROBLEM, then how is Arijit being casted? You're telling me he charges less money than Krushal does? ....I very much doubt that.....he's been in the Hindi industry for longer than Krushal so I'd expect his paycheck is higher.

And how was Shakti even being considered if budget ka issue tha? LOL he was already removed from Ghum2 cuz PH couldn't afford him but still they were trying another round of that fiasco? lol

So yeh sab budget related excuses only come up per convenience....lol they wanted to do gen leap cuz TRP crashed after showing Arshi ka pregnancy bomb promo and they were not being able to recover from that lame gimmick so they just rushed to thinking "freshness" aa jaayegi with gen leap and new leads

Warna otherwise also they were doing unofficial leaps only by showing Jhanak in a new family/place every few months with a huge list of new characters like Mumbai track, Gujarat track and now this village track
