Agree. Taking some help from AI should be ok, as long as one is putting their own creative head into it... and refining grammar is certainly one area where AI can help. But apart from that, we should not let it replace our own creativity.

Apologies for late reply, had moved away from this.

Readers could turn to AI and write a prompt themselves to read a story on their favourite coupling.

I have used AI myself now and then sometimes but I am reliant on using the thesaurus on word if I want a different word. With AI, if there is something I can’t put into words, I will ask for a suggestion and write it in my own way if it comes close to what I want however it is my own creation, dialogues and scenes that I have already typed out myself.

I’m reposting FFs where my writing was so different to now and have used AI to just correct spelling and grammar but keep the prompt to keep everything as is even all the dialogues and it’s boosted me to post my other old stories that I had removed years ago.

bold 1- agree.

bold 2- that is the sad part... why would we need writer then? And what about emotional touch that bots can never add smiley18

Italics - This sounds sensible. I use it sometimes to refine my emails if I am not sure my language is coming across as too mild or too strong. But that is where I want to keep it limited to.

bold&italics - this sounds wonderful dear. I think if we use AI this way, it can be the right balance to give a good writeup while not replacing our own creative thinking.

Anushka-tagging you here too since I feel this post resonates with what I also feel now.
