I wonder, the nerve Digvijay has to blame Rani, that she left without telling anyone! He was the one who was adamant to keep his ex in his house against his wife's interest!! He can do manmaani but she can't! What was option left for her?! in the bts they show Anisha getting all the details of where and how Mannat lived in Mumbai if it was a day’s job then why did it take digvijay to not go and search for her

he is saying he was waiting for her to come back to Ishan .. this guy is a diabolical pathetic person..

He behaves like a criminal.. if he had any humanity he would have searched for Rani knowing she had a still birth . Since he’s in the same profession with the fake medical records he could have asked for morgue reports and details to search for Rani and be her supoort ..

He and his family did not even have the decency to inform Rani’s family

Debu is the biggest hypocrite and dogli .. she kept on living in her La La land that why is Rani not calling me .. what was stopping her for reaching out to Doshi house to try and ask ..

The logic they are presenting for custody is that poor people should not have children.. Digvijay did nothing to search for his wife .. when she left the house she was due to give birth .. so he showed no humanity

But now wants custody.. because he’s rich .,

In such cases . Father is supposed to provide maintenance for the child and since he’s about to get married.. it’s not healthy to introduce dhwani to a step household.
May most Rani should keep custody and he should provide school fees , max can request more visiting rights

Digvijay ki baat na hi karo toh behtar hain! He was busy getting pampered by Anisha! And tbh I never felt that he loved Rani! He married her out of gussa, and maintained the marriage because of their unborn child!! He never understood or trusted Rani... More than Rani he has trust and empathy for Anisha!!

Even now he is bothered about the child! Nowhere he is concerned about Rani! I swear they are gonna show him hurting Rani more, because she left him without his 'galti'! He can't even think what would have his pregnant teen wife felt seeing him glued to your ex, even after she expressed her dislike! He preferred to pamper his ex, than his pregnant wife! They destroyed his character totally, not an inch likeable!

No court grant the custody to father, of a 5 year old girl, unless the mother is dangerous or something! What is point of separating a child from her mother just because the mother is poor!! They can make the father give maintenance!! Co-parenting is a thing! But no, they are trying to boil our blood by showing Rani suffer, and continue to show the cold hearted, selfish DJ!!

I have just started following the show and I really find ML to be pathetic and loser! The way he pushed Rani today and forced little girl to tag along him was cruel....

But I did catch up some episodes post leap, rather than relying on the clips on X, I have some questions,

- Were Rani and Digvijay in love? Seems like Rani was but what about that Moron? From flashback, it's more awkward eyelocks and emotional hugs, basically friendly relationship rather than romantic.

So was there any confession? Or romance...

- How and why did ML get so obsessed with his baby? Fron Promo or in general review it seemed ML didn't want child. So what changed? I saw in first episode post leap that ML legit started some child campaign because he missed his child... I was under impression he didn't want one... So why exactly is he behaving like a psychopath now seeing his child? He is literally treating child like a parcel. Infact both sometimes...

What's the deal with family? Didn't they want boy child?

I was attracted to this show from clips I saw on X, and hence started following it since yesterday because I found their first meet scene after 5 years intense...

Some good points - -

What I did like was the simple straight forward way like it would be in any real situation (through illogical sequences), the first thing was be turant realized that girl was his child with Rani... No doubts, no dragging where he would first meet Rani and accuse her of being careless and losing their child... No hide and seek...

And no delay in letting the child know that he is her father, jitna drama baaki shows karte hai on revealing step by step for drama..

Pehle child meet parent away, then parenrs meet, then you spend time in realizing child is indeed theirs and revealing to child or vice verse... Yahan sab together with all common sense wale points ticked... You find your ex wife, who was pregnant, with a child... She is Your daughter... And tell the child I am your father, and this is your family... Baat khatam...

I hope atleast in this show the custody isn't given to father because he is rich but I think that case against Rani for threatening that guy will be major reason... She could be doubted as someone who is dangerous?

Me too started recently seeing a clip showing how healthy Rani's sasural is compared to her Mayka! I thought it would be some positive show with supporting sasural! Eventhough majority of her sasural is supportive (if you just skip 4 of them including the ML, rest others are good), those 3-4 keedas ruined everything for Rani..

So coming to your questions, Rani and Digvijay were attracted to each other. Rani thinking it's love, sleeps with him. He was drunk during the deed. His family especially his mother and bhabhi, insult her and shame her and send her back home, while DJ was still sleeping after the kaand! 🙄 And after waking up he is angry at her, I don't know why!!🙄

Her family arrange her wedding. She escapes from her wedding and comes to meet DJ (thinking that he loves her) while he is in a press meet with Anisha, he is again angry at her for ruining his press meet 🙄

Later when everybody blames her, she stands up for herself. She back-answers when his mother tries to shame her for something her son is also responsible, and he is again angry at her for insulting his mother 🙄 In that rage he puts sindoor on her maang when she says he ruined her life!!

(During this process once he confesses that he loved her, but that was a self-conversation, he talked to himself, no-one heard it! )

In short he was shown to be super angry at her after the kaand! Whatever softcorner or romance was there before was never shown afterwards. He acted as if the marriage was forced on him. There were small advancements, but it all looked forced for me.. He kept himself angry at her all the time.. poor girl was dealing with the toxic MIL and GrandMIL, along with the husband's anger!!

- Then comes the pregnancy! He was shown to be very supportive initially. Later he says he wants to abort the child for both of their better future. When Rani decides to keep the baby, he is again angry at her 🙄 He even tortures her to make her realize that it's not easy to study medicine being pregnant! During the process Rani and child's lives fall in risk because of Dijvijay and he realizes his mistakes! After that they were shown to be a loving couple, majorly him taking care of her and the child! eventhough there was no confession as such.. Rani told many times that she loves him, he never told! During this time he gets attached to the baby. His mother also accepts her, and the whole family was very supportive towards her.

- And then comes the planning and plotting of Anisha.. She creates misunderstandings between them, and as usual DJ never trusts Rani, but he always trusts Anisha! He is angry at her again 🙄 and blames her for doubting Anisha! Anisha starts living in their house, and keeps clinging on to DJ. Rani questions DJ about their his intimacy towards his ex, and she demands to send her out of the house. The mahan ML, supports his ex over his full term pregnant wife! He even shouts at her and raise his hand! He says that Anisha will stay in the same house! That night Anisha plots big and calls DJ to her room. Soon before leaving the room he confesses to a sleeping Rani that he loves her so much 🙄!! But later Rani see DJ (drugged) and Anisha in a compromised position, seeing which Rani leaves the house on the spot.

After the patch up they did act like normal couples... him taking care of her, trying to make her happy, giving her surprises, pda etc, for a short duration of time. During that time, he even ignored Anisha and kept Rani over her. He was very supportive for her studies also... But as you said, there was no emotional confession from DJ's side before or during this phase, which made me feel that he is doing all these out of guilt and responsibility... I don't know if it's just my percpetion, that intensity was missing from his side!! May be it's his character, he is shown to be a cold one, with a lot of ego!

He didn't slap her, just raised the hand and stopped.
