From what i understood from this news report, the Baloch people specifically the leaders representing Balochistan here seem far more progressive and clear minded compared to most muslim majority countries in our neighborhood (Pak-Afghan-Bangladesh). They firmly reject terrorism and the madrasa based ideology. From their speeches, it was evident that they see this ideology as the root cause of the entire terrorism crisis.

They appeared significantly more forward thinking than a nation like bangladesh, which we once helped gain independence but now seems ungrateful. The Baloch leaders stance condemning the use of religion and madrasa ideology to fuel terrorism clearly shows where they stand. I even heard that they will have women representatives in their parliament.

I believe that if these same leaders guide Balochistan after gaining independence, the region will progress much faster. As for Pakistan, it can go and sink itself somewhere.
