My question is why did Prime minister agree for cease fire. How did a certain joker come to take credit for this cease fire?

What were the cease fire terms.

I'm really sorry to say that our armed forces and the people of India were let down by the political leadership.

I fully supported our aremed forces and our political leadership despite it was not the party I voted for. The entire political establishment was behind the primemninster yet he let down the country.

All thanks to our political leadership we lost the war despite winning the battle

we lost the war, care to elaborate?? How did we loose one?? This leadership is the reason there was a battle at first placesmiley24

Hopefully, its true and Balochistan will finally receive the much deserved independence from Pakistan. Pakistan has tortured the region for far too long, depriving it of development. I truly hope they achieve independence and move forward toward growth and prosperity.

I have no idea about Balochistan other than Manmohan ensuring every agent of India there was killed .. so let’s hope they succeed regardless of who is right and wrong since it’s against Pakistan. An enemy of enemy is a friend :)

@bold- Very true!! Its the first time Indian Govt has given such strong retaliation tow Pakistan for its decades of terror attacks. When Mumbai 26/11 attacks happened, what did the previous govt do? Nothing but cry in UN and peace talks with Paksmiley7And creation of NIA probably. Thats it. I still don't see a strong criticism for that. Now even when Govt did so much still I see many are not happy.

@pink- you know when Trump announced ceasefire I was quite disappointed. Because it just came out of blue midst a operation when clearly India had a upper hand and the whole day Pakistani people were claiming victory and there was no statement from our govt. But after the next day PC of DGMO's, I have no complaints. They clearly laid out what India had achieved and how they retaliated against Pak attacks and I understood Pakistan was doing nothing but spreading lies and propganda because it could not wom anything on ground. And as you said there was no mention of ceasefire or even US trade deal or trump. Govt also made it clear that no trade talks came up and there will be strong action if Pakistan did anything again.

Its just that even now Pak is sending drones here and there which should not be normalized and there should be strong action against it.

I think there were no drone activities yesterday. But agreed it shouldn't have been allowed the first two days as well.

My feelings was exactly the same, since we didn't know exactly what and why were India trying to achieve (which is completely fine as such sensitive information can't be revealed to public beforehand) that's why a sudden stop seemed out of nowhere. I didn't mind Pakistan claiming victory because they have a habit of doing that, what was bothering me was if the targets have been achieved or not.

I was hoping that Modi/ any senior officials does explain us the same because there was a sense of anxiety confusion and a bit morale down that was happening. But the next day army officials not only came with a bang but actually explained everything so well that no more confusion was left and I felt so proud of my country. It removed any iota of doubt from everyone's mind and see now Indians are mocking Pakistan all over SM..

I still have doubts about the nuclear leakage thing as it's a very huge issue (and India has officially denied it) but even without that we achieved much more than expected.

Had this been a war, it would have been one of biggest victories of India against Pakistan much bigger than 48, 65 or even Kargil
