One thing i have noticed is: Dharmic religions that originated from india from same roots have generally become more peaceful and progressive with each evolution starting from Sanatan to Buddhism, Jainism, modern Hinduism and Sikhism.

In contrast, Abrahmic religions, especially those from the Middle East, seem to have regressed with each iteration almost going backwards to the Stone Age. For example, from Judaism to Christianity to Islam. Christianity improved over time due to reform movements but Islam remains largely stuck in its old, orthodox, and highly regressive practices.

Overall Dharmic religions and even East Asian ones like Shintoism and Taoism tend to be far more peaceful and balanced compared to those that emerged in the Middle East.

No hate to any religion but this is my pure opinion about Abrahmic vs Dharmic religions.

This is largely true.

The problem is, any belief systen requires reforms. Christinsity bad Martin Luther's Reformist movement, the Protestant movement (championed by Queen Elizabeth I).

In India, Hinduism saw a tide of reforms (under the likes of Vidyasagar, Jyotiba Phule) and new belief movements (Bhakti movement, Arya Samaj etc). Therefore, it stood the test of time.

But the same cannot be said for Islam. It is a rigid belief system which considers any suggestion of reform as blasphemy. Therefore, it has remained stuck in the 12th century in terms of thought and mindset.

If they dont want to evolve their religious beliefs with time, then they shouldnt use modern technology either. Go live like its 1400 years ago. Why are you using 21st century technology while holding on to Stone Age era beliefs??

There was a press conference but I didn't see it. So I don't know anything.

Back then Indians were blind or made blind. Now we know the truth.
