Ye to hai hi. I don't understand why we are making this point repeatedly. Obviously Pakistan was getting to retort to nuclear war and so US intervened and we agreed for Ceasefire.

But I am asking this since the start, how did government not anticipate this?? Even general public knew Pakistan will retort to nuclear war once they are in backfoot. If that was the only reason for agreeing to ceasefire then it was a huge miscalculation while starting it. Tab to diplomatic issue hi rakhna tha. Using IWT, unko attack karke humaare aur civilians ki deaths karwaane ki kya zaroorat thi?

If threat of nuclear weapon from Pakistan was the only reason I would call it a huge miscalculation.

Pakistan has always shouted their nuclear capacity, how did India think it would not retort to that

I don't know what all went through behind the scenes but it did seem like an anticlimax.

Anyways now we need to focus on getting those terrorists who were directly responsible for pehelgam.

I really hope india keeps the IWT in abeyance plus employs various other means to cripple pakistan economically and geographically (support to Balochistan movement).
