Mrina I Can't Send In The Answers For Round 3
So I am Quitting Here
Why what happened?
Well, it’s your choice…
This Round Is Too Hard For Me
Try before quitting, you may understand it after a while
It’s exactly like wordsearch, except that the words are not in a straight line - they are zig-zag. Look at the example Mrina has posted. It’s not hard at all. You’ll be able to get it once you find one word. And each strand follows a theme.

Ok Riya I Will Try It Once
But How To Send It?
That's The Question?
You can send me either the finished word search highlighted/ coloured or just a list of the words and Spangram from each Strand—whatever’s easier for you. Just be sure to send everything in one PM.

Now it's time for Round 3, and we’re turning up the heat with a word game that’s just a little different. Imagine a word search—but with no word list and a theme waiting to be uncovered. That’s Strands for you.🔍🧠
This round is an ode to my dear friend and the best host on IF — Shreya aka Minionite🧡
Those who played her Jimmy Jab Season 7 will know exactly what this is.
Yes, I'm channeling my inner Minionite...😈
For those who didn’t or don’t quite remember, here’s an example.
The theme here was “My cup of tea”—and this is what the completed puzzle looked like:
The yellow-highlighted phrase is the Spangram — which is the challenge word.
In this example, it’s “Masala Chai”, and the surrounding words are all related to it—like the ingredients needed to make one.
Below, you’ll find 5 word searches, each accompanied by a theme and the number of words to find. Yes, they’re all food-related — because where else would you get stranded but the kitchen? 🍽️😄
Your goal is to find the correct number of words and then figure out the Spangram.
Each solved word search will earn you 20 points. If you correctly guess the Spangram, there’s a bonus 5 points waiting for you.
All those who submit their responses in the first 24 hours will receive 5 bonus points per correctly solved puzzle. That is up to 25 extra points if you get them all correct.
Please PM me the answers when you're sure that you want to submit. Only one entry per person unless there is something that needs fixing.
No cheating or discussing answers until the deadline has passed. Let’s keep it fair and fun for everyone!
You can send me either the finished word search or just a list of the words and Spangram from each Strand—whatever’s easier for you. Just be sure to send everything in one PM.
A few important things to note:
1) Every letter is used only once in Strands.
2) All letters must be used up. No letter goes unused.
3) Words can appear in any direction—up, down, left, right, and diagonal—across various rows and columns.
4) The theme of the puzzle is for the Spangram which is the challenge word.
Deadline: 12th May 11:59 PM IST
For the bonus points, I will count any entries received until 11th May 11:59 PM IST.
Now that you’re familiar with how the round works, it’s time to dive in and give it your best shot!
Here you go...
1) Fire it up (7 words)
2) Forkful of Twists (6 words)
3) Too Hot to Handle (7 words)
4) Aroma in a Jar (7 words)
5) Whispers of Freshness (7 words)
Good luck, and let’s see who gets Stranded in the Kitchen with all the right answers!
Strands..stranded. I love it.
