As far as the cultural aspects of 2 States are considered, it's not possible for me to identify the inaccuracies because I'm neither Tamil or Punjabi. But I can understand what you're saying.

Yes, how can I forget those dialogues! They were really wrong and blatant objectification. I really couldn't bring myself to read any other book of his after that. Some books have no justification for being a bestseller. His are some of those.

It's true that mechanical engg is for guys and the ratio of boys to girls is 10:1. It's a tough choice but a lot of times either the girl has brain wired to do mechanical engineering or had no other choice due to low scores. In my batch, mechanical had a total of 60 out of which only 5 were girls.

This one also I couldn't sit through just like Ghulaam and Sadda Haq. In this, performances didn't click. Apologies if I am the only one again. But I absolutely dislike Gul Khan's heroines. They blabber too much and have strange dialogues and catchphrases to say. The story didn't help too, welp. 😕

Yeah I did skim through the tags, didn't read all. It's okay. Although I'm equally opposite, I really like gul's shows. I have a thing for toxic guys and all of her mls are too handsome. But in this show the fl was very avg

Yes, yes, I also dislike Anika type heroines. They're overly talkative and say weird dialogues. But I can't say this for every Gul Khan's heroine. That's because Nazar's heroine wasn't like that. I used to watch Nazar and liked the heroine of that show. As far as this show is concerned, I don't know about the character. So, I can't comment.
