What I feel is by spreading this fake news etc pak wants India to invoke act of war and retaliate. When they are hit hard they can easily say nothing happened and India did it on its own.

That might be a possibility too, all of it should be verified and accessed before taking any step further.

There are no friends in international relations, just benefits. No one does anything for free or if they have nothing to gain. IMF has also given funds to Pak only because they don't want them to get it from china and become more of a rogue state under its control. US has a history of destroying countries for its gain.

The conflict between Russia & US is the reason for militancy in Kashmir. US wanted to stop USSR from spreading its tentacles and funded mujahideen.
