1. India hasn't declared ceasefire , attack is halted till 12th May.

2 . The motive of this operation was to establish "deterrents " .

3. We will eventually capture the terrorists behind pahalgam but the terror hubs across the border needed to be shut & sent a clear message to their messiah country that enough is enough . They're not safe taking cover of civilian population .

4. We still haven't reversed our stand on Indus water treaty , the economic pressure , the diplomatic measures are still in place , all the restrictions are in place and will be in future . That's enuf deterrent for long term which will keep them in check .

5. Our motive was never to take down Paki . We don't need to do that , their own people will do it and that's not our problem. We don't want them In our country .

6. Govt will be criticized any which way but the way they've protected us , like north Indian population is almost the half of India, it's commendable and no words can describe how effective & great they were .. they've shown this to the world and to our people that they can act and act effectively ..minimum damage is expected ...they fired 1000 drones imagine if all of them hit . So let's not devalue what they did ..the idea was to send the message to the enemy

Thankyou for this. Government has definitely done whatever they felt best, only it should have been done before we lost our civilians

@bold is there any official statement on this?

The part in bold -

Aap ko nehi pata, Napakis are their fathers smiley11 They are always in support of Pakistan, whether it's cricket or war. I don't care about their opinion either, just posted saying ki Pakistanis will have similar opinions.

Pakistan main dikkat to yeh hai ki power main kon hai millitary, govt or isi.

Understanding might be with govt but isi might not want it, failed state

Also

Reports of continuing ceasefire violation emerging from Kashmir.

DD news is telling ..

both side will meet again May 12th for terms and conditions...

i don't know why they are using ceasefire..

i think it's too early to decide. When big countries are trying to mediate they can not just ignore it as in future something happens then all big countries will support pak.

So they have to be diplomatic as india still needs some help from other countries. So they will agree for now but they will wait for pak to break ceasefire to decalre act of war.

Basically all of it has been discussed on several channels by the govt officials & army people..ex and active..so no doubt abt their stand ..

Just that we have to wait till 12th May to know the terms of the deal but paki is in no position to negotiate anything that's for sure
