He didn't become some kind of hardened bitter soul....bas Jhanak se hi naraazgi hai but baaki he's still that good soul that he is.

Toh Ani ka wo core trait change ni kia Leena ne is very good...koi galat kam krke paise ni kama Raha like his father. Mehnat ki or jo pyar Jhanak ke liye tha wo sb kam pr laga dia... indirectly it's Jhanak pyar only able to make him more successful on financial front.

That was a bit of a weird dialogue follow up when he said ki Arshi mere saath isliye reh rahi hai kyunki woh humesha jeetna chahti hai.....aur mujhe lagta hai ki samay ke saath saath shayad main bhi jeet hi raha hoon....aur shayad Jhanak ko bhi aisa hi lagta hai...lol

It was unclear what he was saying in that second bit...thoda bitterly bol raha tha as if saying ki maybe I'm also winning as time goes by and that is what Jhanak seems to think....lol he is mainly hung up on how Jhanak couldn't even once bother wondering ki woh kis haal mein hoga.....isliye his every sentence ghoom phir ke ends on Jhanak

Yeah 5 years later Didi should deffo be more desperate about wanting to get rid of Jhanak....lol after all, Didi ne ab 5 saal aur "invest" kar diye hain is so called rishte mein.....toh aur bhi desperate hogi to remove Jhanak naam ka eternal roadblock that always takes Ani away....lol.

Imv, Ani wanted to say that he could channelise his love and loss towards work and hence he may be winning as he is still alive (countering his claims of Jhanak ke bina jee nahi paunga...he also gave reference to him doing well means Jhanak is alive while replying to Minu's claim of Jhanak's death)..Jhanak bhi yehi sochti hogi matlab he thinks that she might also believe in this delulu that he can actually live without her seeinh him successful and still married to Arshi..

Haha yes, bolna yehi chahta tha but dialogue was still weirdly phrased I felt.

Baaki toh us scene ka main mazaa yehi tha ki Ani was sulking while talking about Jhanak not thinking of him ....and Arshi ke topic pe his face again had the same contempt that Arshi is staying with him simply cuz she wants to win at all costs.
