He has a point, but that's how the business is. However if he stops launching talentless nepos then media may stop too.

Karan Johar blaming the media for the “nepo baby” obsession is… ironic at best.

Sure, the media amplifies them—but let’s not pretend it’s the root cause. It’s just one cog in a well-oiled ecosystem that benefits everyone involved: producers, PR machinery, fan armies—and yes, Karan himself.

Let’s not forget, he didn’t just ride the nepotism wave—he helped build the damn boat.

Star kids are born with opportunity and resources. They can afford a PR before they’re even technically launched. And between their PRs, their parents’ connections, and their family friends, yea I’m looking at you Karan Johar, they have a full monopoly on the system and utilize it fully, almost greedily. Meanwhile the outsider hasn’t even had a chance to walk inside Dharma’s office yet
