That’s a brilliant review and analysis of Neeu’s behaviour Moor, really enjoyed it and trying to understand the characters deeper.
Mental health illness is brushed under the carpet all over the world, particularly when it’s women suffering it, but it’s well know that it’s largely ignored and stigmatised in Indian cultural, again the world over. I hope you are right in Mukta, that she is trying to address mental health imbalance through Neetu’s obsessive behaviour and drugging issue. Perhaps over dramatising and dragging out in a similar way to Bobby’s track (for trp partly) to emphasise the negative aspects which if left untreated can result in a danger to even loved ones lives. I hope when Ronnie comes to know he sees it as an illness and gets treatment for Neetu or addresses it in some way , rather than allow it to continue….. which is most often case in the real world.
It’s very uncomfortable watching Mannu constantly at the receiving end , even in her interview Ayesha make a remark like ‘if it’s the mother, you look the other way’ but it’s not acceptable in any circumstance to physically slap another person nor public ally berate them….. but itv are obsessed with sas/bahu angst, but hopefully Vikrant stops it here.
Bold, the issue is not about mother or not a mother and the makers need to address this. Felt in this bit even Ayesha was not convinced the slap was ok
The message has to be clear, Physical/mental abuse is not ok , there can be no clauses added to this just like how people are aware there can be no clauses for sexual abuse and it's understood this is not ok and is a crime.
We are a bunch of delulu people 😎
I think I will get PTSD - Post Traumatic Shake Disorder next time if I see Vik making milkshake for Neetu !

agree with everything you’ve said - I am hoping this track makes this clear but I am a little doubtful considering the obsession in itv for the bahu to be ill treated or the sas to attempt to drive the lovers apart for her chosen bahu instead 😒

@ bold.... yes this is exactly what I meant.... Thank you
With the way they dealt Shalinis track... where it led to some final justifiable conclusion... I hope they address this too .... its sad to see Neetu drugging Vikrant even when he is suffering
@red... I can understand many people are upset at this.... but this was kind of expected for an FL.... coming from lost land... ye jyada triggering nahi tha to me ... still cant get over those ones

Sbs segment for today's episode...
Thank you all so much for tagging me. It will take me time to read through all the tags. I was travelling for a whole week and I am back.
Today is my binge watch day and I am thoroughly loving it.
There's so much of foreshadowing to do with Malla. When Vikku holds Mannat's pinky finger, to hold on Malla separates them and comes and stands in front of Mannat blocking Vikrant from Mannat. Plus, of course today, the confession about mannat to Malla.
I was wondering why they have not given any indication of the next track yet. IPL ends on May 25th..
.
Interesting discussion on Neetu.
I'll watch a bit more and come back. I have been wanting to do a post on motherhood in this show for a while now.
What am I seeing? Yeh hamara Vikrant aur Mannat hi haina?
