Mannu pulling his leg and seeing Vikrant’s shamed and remorseful reaction is cute - but I wonder if a foreshadowing..….. if/when Malla tries accusing Vikrant of doing something while unconscious, (we the audience and) Vikrant and Mannu should know he’s not capable of doing anything, their trust in other is solid.

It did look foreshadowing to me too...

And this won't be just for Mannat... it will be for audience too...

I think that's also why they inserted Vikrant confessing his feelings to Malla instead of Mannat.. that way Malla and audience both are aware that Vikrant loves Mannat.

But confession to Malla is certainly so she now takes direct action to break them apart before Vikrant confesses his feelings to Mannat.
