Part of me feels the writing is all over the place. If he is her direct superior, then technically he shouldn't be in a romantic relationship with her in the first place. This is the reason people are moved to another department if one of them ends up becoming girlfriend or spouse. If he is her direct superior, then she should be taking his orders.

That said, he also encashed the cheque and also took the cash Taimoor gave -- he told her that he was taking back the money that T family owe him and if anything happens, he will take care of her. So he asked her to ignore and she became binami in a sense for this shady dealing. So him following the protocol in that situation (the preview said she was being charged with corruption and bribes) is hypocritical and one can see why she is mad.

That said, the writing is all over the place with so many loopholes (like how did Emaan finish her studies in one year and become officer) and it is hard for me to take this drama seriously at all. I am basically watching for the politics, the eyerolls within the family rather than what Emaan or Bilal are up to as I have lost interest in these two characters.

Watched recent two episodes and i am actually hooked to it

On the contrast I hate the show since the romantic track started. I used to like Bilal but even I hate him now. You should have watch the show from the beginning to see how good of female lead she is 😆😆

Somehow both the main leads are commissioner but somehow it feels only Bilal is the saviour while Emaan despite being the commissioner needs her help all the time. Whats the point of being in high post if you don't have a brain. Such an unrealistic character.

Emaan has become actually kind of lifeless since she became an officer. It is like the responsibilities have stripped her of any personality. She only comes alive ironically if she is fighting with Ahad. Otherwise, she is still too scared to really react to Taimoor and she has almost no energy/feel when she is with Bilal other than just awkward/shy glances.

Also, am still not sure if Bilal and Emaan are end game here. The wedding chatter is happening in middle??? of the drama. So more than likely they will break up permanently or temporarily. If they do get married even after all this arrest, then she will become even more invisible already and there won't be much for her character to do in the story other than be all helpless because Taimoor makes moves on her while she is stuck at home jobless or something. Let's see.

If my feel is right, then Bilal may not be the match for her either. There was a line with Zara where he argued that nothing happened between her and Ahad. So if indeed there is another situation where her character looks shady because of Ahad, he might end up dumping her.

That is why their relationship looks half baked and not the right time at all. All the allegations about her should have been proved false and she should be the active one in charge of her own life. By Bilal having to rescue her, it also enforces the narrative that she is someone who needs a man to move up and therefore, will jump from one male to another.

Hopefully, this awkward writing is part of the plot for Emaan to rise up on her own as an individual and as a woman. Otherwise, yea, characterization is just bad. 🤷

I kind of agree. Also she is most useless character. Even now I prefer Laila over her. Atleast Laila knows what she wants, and even goes for it even if it will be the wrong way. Her personality was more suitable for commisione than Emaans. They have even made Zara such a useless character lately. I was expecting more from her in the beginning of the show.

I also had a theory at one point where I felt maybe Bilal is playing game here where he wants Ahad to fight for his love and Emaan is a way to show Taimoors real face on Zara and technicslly doesn't love her. So here is faking being in love with Emaan. Honestly was watching in that hope only. I have no interst in seeing Bilal and Emaans romance I skip all their scenes. Also the way he cashed cheque on Emaans name is kind of shady and he never bothered to clear Emaans name for Ahad, since he thinks now it was Emaan who took the money also Emaan tecnically should have jailed Laila but then she ended up jailing Ahad which also kind of doesn't look good if its coming from Ahad pov. I can see why he got mad. Also the way Bilal himself was willing to give everything to Laila so that means he wasn't doing to get his property back.

But then I went to Hina tariq instagram reels she is basically sharing only romantic clips of Bilal and Emaan so. Even ali was sharing only Hina and His clips from the beginning. So I do think they are end game ,which honestly is so inorganic. And I am not interested in seeing a show where a man is a savour for a useless girl all time. Bilal was also doing too much even when he was technically married to someone else which didn't felt right with me. Emaan toh was dreaming about him even knowing the guy was married. And then him sudeenly confession. It feels as if he was interested in her from the beginning.

Also, Ptv rarely shows something different so I will be surprised if they won't end up together.

Am still finding Zara entertaining at times especially with the eye rolls. In a way, her character is a kind of tragic one. She knowingly is in a marriage where her husband not only doesn't love her, but is openly having the hots for someone else, harassed that girl and lied about it, his parents stole her inheritance and act like they have done her a favour by letting her stay on as daughter-in-law.

So Zara is in a tight corner but she still manages to have personality and not be a bechari who is doing rona dhona all the time. Instead, this is her decision to stay actively, she makes passive agressive jabs at everyone including T parents, she is also plotting away whenever she can. So from that perspective, Zara is quite atypical and interesting to watch.

As for Laila, she is also superbly complex. Basically like you said, everyone is better written than Emaan or even Bilal. I find Laila - Bilal's interactions very confusing. Even when he told her that she could manage the property, it felt like they both had regrets. He let Emaan conduct the raid, arrest Ahad and all that public fiasco and then he says to Laila almost affectionately that she can run the property if she wishes???? It made no sense.

Their conversation seemed like they have always wanted more but the fact that their marriage was forced upon them meant neither could really commit to it. So if it had been their own decision, maybe the outcome would have been different.

So yea, not expecting this drama to be different in terms of Emaan/Bilal pairing but the drama feels unpredictable

No one is praising her except few Laila sympathizers & pre determined Emaan haters lol

If you look at the comments of last 5 episodes almost everyone want Bilal-Emaan endgame.

This drama is a copy of RangMahal & here Bilal is playing Salaar's role. 1st teaser of the drama made it clear that Bilal will be the protector of Emaan just like Salar was of Mahapara. Those who have problem with basic premise of the drama shouldn't have even started watching this drama.

I think Bilal is a mix of Salaar and Rayed both. In Rang Mahal, whenever Mahpara was in trouble, it was Rayed who ultimately saved her. Yes, Salar supported her a lot but she did not depend on him completely. It was Rayed who protected Mahpara against his brother. Mahpara fought with the brothers mostly on her own, like faking that love angle. Salar was her support, not her protector

In contrast, here, Bilal is the one who was with Emaan from the day one. He not only supports her but also protects her. So he has the traits of both Rayed and Salaar in my POV

Also Laila's character gets a lot of attention heresmiley36 despite the fact that she has been crying after a married man even while being married herself.. thats not complex. Thats called being tharki. Kinda like Taimoor without the criminal mindsetsmiley36 bold of her to call Emaan characterless

Bilal did clear Ahad's name to Emaan in the beginning. He did tell her father that Ahad did not make the bet. But Bilal had been clear from the beginning that he did not agree with the way Ahad approached Emaan because it was not proper

As for Emaan, the girl needs to control her impulsiveness. But then Bilal had ages to calm his nerves and plan his moves. It was all kinda sudden for Emaan so i guess it will take some time

Is it so 😂

I actually don't know what happened in past story 🤣. Why you hate bilal now.

The only thing attracted me was how male lead became rich and got high profile job. And then he fell for her employee 🤣
