If you can see the difference reprimanding Ruhi about something that doctor herself has recommended and being rude to gynaecologist based on internet facts. Then I have nothing to say.

There is difference between overbearing, overprotective father and being downright insensitive to not only your wife, but also SIL.

Even Abhira in her overbearing phase was not never insensitive to Armaan or his fears or his insecurities. She never tried to control Ruhi

Because there is history now, he has lost a child. Not everyone deals with grief the same way before anyone comes with ‘Abhira is not behaving so’

Abhira literally made a timetable for Ruhi, when/what to eat , when to sleep, when to exercise. Today she herself checked the car, so when Armaan does it it is annoying

Abhira's overbearing was ridiculous too. But there's a difference between Abhira following the doctor's advice to the tee and Armaan questioning the doctor. During BSP's time he was concerned, now he's just unreasonable. It screams of Vidya Poddar's influence. This is the same nonsense Vidya pulled during Ruhi's first pregnancy. When Abhira expressed her worries, it included Armaan's concerns too. She did not behave as if Armaan is incapable of handling things.
