Who is Preeta? HELP!!

Hi guys - can someone please tell me who is preeta and how she is related to Prathana? I used to watch for some time, season 1 of this show and know that Kundali Bhagya was about the character's sister...

Please help!

So Preeta was Pragya’s sister in kumkum bhagya, before they decided to give Preeta her own storyline in Kundali bhagya. Then there has been leap after leap. So Pragya’s daughter was Prachi, then Prachi’s daughter is Purvi and Purvi’s daughter is Parathna. So to answer your question, that makes Preeta Parathna’s great aunt or Masi as we would call it.

I hope that helps and hopefully there are no more leaps as that already makes Preeta the youngest great Masi alive. Not sure I could take any more leaps.

I think I mean great grand Masi….lol I give up!

Wasn't Pragya's sister's name Bulbul?

Yes, but then two long lost sisters turned up, who were Preeta and Shristi ( I think that was her name). I think they were living with the dad or something. They never really went into detail. I’m sure they were also Pragya’s blood sisters and not cousin sisters. To be honest, I remember the episode when the two sisters turn up very vaguely before they vanished and the separate storyline was made for them We are going a good few years back.

So it's weird that they are bringing back a character so old... would have made sense to bring back someone who was part of the last 2 generations instead... i mean they brought back purvi but that storyline, too doesn't make sense... there's no purpose to it. She's back in jail and didn't tell her about the family either to prathna... oh well... i guess it's too much sense to expect from Ekta's shows.

I agree with you completely, but I guess it depends which actors are prepared to come back to a show where they get written off because the makers think the actors playing the characters are not pulling in the ratings and then they decide to do a leap to save the show. Personally, I thought all the actors playing prachi, ranveer, purvi and rv were great. It was the ridiculous storylines in Ekta’s shows that resulted in the drop in ratings but I guess they will never admit that. I used to watch it sporadically and the story never moved much…lol I do think it’s time to end the show.

Purvi's come back was needed.Because no one knew who Prarthana's parents were.Just to let them know who gave birth to prarthana they brought her mom.not only that since they erased the ehole previous generation it looked like a new show,was not getting a kkb feel.That's why they brought back purvi.its ridiculous that purvi and prarthana didn't discuss who the father is.

We can't say preeta is too old.because when preeta was young kkb took leap.so when pragya was old,preeta was young and unmarried.so after the leap they never connected both the bhagyas together.both were separate shows.Preeta's son shaurya attended RV Purvi's wedding as RV's friend,not as a relative.
